Not even half time and this grand final is over with. Congratulations to Subiaco. Only lost 1 game in the past 2 years.

What can be done to bring the glory back the glory glory to the WAFL as well as Subiaco?

I'd have every WAFL game on WAFL.tv

Have a primary Colts competition and s league competition, getting rid of the reserves.

Have a draft system where Colts nominate for the WAFL league and teams pick players based on previous season ladder position. Bottom 5 teams gets randomly chosen picks 5 to 1.

WAFL club to pay cash payments for any wafl player chosen to play AFL, based on the players Colts team.

Have a women's competition that represents the 10 wafl teams, and play their games in replacement of the reserves. Wafl.tv to broadcast their games too.

Listening to 720 ABC Bill Monaghan just said next year two clubs get extra zones, one of them is Subiaco. Perth is not the other one. Go figure. It’s actually sickening listening to the excitement of the commentators calling the first 10 minutes of the 3rd qtr as the slaughter continues. I feel for SF and their supporters. It’s almost better being the side that lost the prelim final so you don’t have to endure such a humiliating loss.

I am numb thinking about what this competition has turned into while those useless fuckheads at Numpty headquarters continue to do nothing about it.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

DD without those fully loaded Peel Alignment sides.Subi would win there 6th flag in a row today.Remember Peel just beat Subi in those 2GF's.Somehow we make clubs stronger to equal Subi onfield.Has to be a 100k salary cap increase.

All clubs apart from Peel+West Coast.
Player retention for clubs like Swans has been very difficult. Just going around in circles.

I'm sure another topic on this subject being discussed several weeks ago.
There are about 6 or 7 issues that need attending too most urgently. Or more accurately, should have been fixed long , long ago!
The remarks during the week of Subiaco is just one of the topics of discussion. And all the other problems also need urgent attention during the off season!
Given the so called commissions hopeless efforts thus far, not holding my breath on any positive solutions to bring the Wafl back. I believe the attendance today is about 11½ thousand. This follows a very low total H & A attendances too.

Replace the reserves match prior to the league match with an a league amateur fixture that is closely aligned to the area of the wafl league game.

The comp is a disgrace and the WAFC will do nothing about it.
Subi again next year with supporters from the other wafl clubs dropping off in huge numbers.
The death of the comp is not far away.

The crowd figure i heard for today was 18,941 - which is poor but understandable as most supporters are sick of $ubi.

Stop banging nails in the WAFL coffin and exhume the body for the funeral pyre.
