They used 76 points alone between the 22 who took the field last week in the GF.
It should be a points cap based on the actual game per week capped at say 40 per game (SF used 37 in the GF).
Subi had the likes of Newton, Marsh, Powell, Litherland (all 10 point players) that would have filled the cap between them if we had a per game points cap.

Bh I think your maths is a bit out, our GF team points were 68 not 76, still significant but i know you hate to get your facts wrong.
Powell 10
Marsh 10
Lith 10
Newton 10
Rohde 5
kitch 3
lockyer 3
dela 2
Sok 2
The other 13 were 1 pointers for a total of 68.

Sheesh apologies SS not sure how I miscalculated that my only defence is that I added them up on an old WAFC abacus I picked up from the Subiaco Oval dispersal sale!!

Surely with the success of Pickett yesterday and many dozens of other WAFL mature aged talent running around in the afl this season (Kelly, Broad, Adams, L.Jetta, Lobb etc) Kermit Taylor would have a good case to push for more funding from the afl for the WAFL than the pitiful amount they provide now which all goes into the Colts and underage comps....that is of course if the CEO is on the ball and not just over there on a week long junket!!

Hi all, just returned from a month holidaying in Peru. Well worth a visit if you havent been there. Sounds like I didnt miss much in September what with the lopsided WAFL and AFL grand finals. Hopefully there will now be some action taken by the WAFC to make the WAFL a bit more competitive although I won't be holding my breath to be honest.

Mike...Commission Taylor said a bit during last week's GF.Went to Melbourne for the Brownlow count..Had meetings with the AFL over concessions for the mid season draft..Changed his tune a bit on arrival back to Perth..However did mention Subi soft salary cap .Which was all cleared 18 months ago...
Heard Liam Bakers father on the radio yesterday. Richmond player who left West Perth to go to Subi like Sam Menagola with East Freo.Believing Subi was the closest thing to the AFL..

there has not been anywhere near enough fair and equal

Southener, what individual agreements do Subi currently have with the WAFC that other clubs
dont?

He just works harder, goes in Saturday too sometimes. Has also been known to work the odd public holiday - it's all about what you put in. Apparently works into the night when there is a game on to boot - has busted a real gut this year keeping all those cones etc in place when the Subiaco boys are doing all the extra training that no one else is physically or mentally capable of. That's what this also highlights - waterboys, trainers, support staff et al all prepared to work harder.
Players can't do it on their own - this hard work comes from the President right down to the bootstudder.

Just listened to Mr Taylor & Mr Capes.
Mr Taylor committed to bugger all.
He will do only what the commission tells him to doo and they are not committed in any way.
Which set of books did Subi show you Gav.
You will not catch them as you do not understand paper bags.

Mr Capes you are disrespectful to the other Clubs.
How can you talk with a straight face.
You have about a dozen staff and I am talking back room where other clubs have maybe 3 or 4.
Then we start talking football department you cannot lie straight in bed and say that other Clubs spend the same.
They can't afford the gym equipment let alone the staff to teach the players how to use them.
We don't have the paper bags.
As for your clip board boys on game day.
Let alone your coaching staff.
Give me a break you insulting disrespectful person you.
You and your club are a blight on the competition.
Not6hing will change whilst the commission is influenced by Subiaco.
No other club has the same resources.
I cannot believe some of the sh** I'm hearing.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

Subi posters are going to have to work a hell of a lot harder on their posts to dominate this argument.

I thought you were dead set against domination. After all, it has been your constant whining for about 3 months now.

Oh well! ;)
