For that matter how many years did they all spend at a wafl club?

For mine this is the biggest change if you could call it that out of pretty underwhelming report.

Sure the season will be shorter, but as long as they preserve key fictures , ie as long as there are still 3 derbies each year and they can condesne the fixtures down to the best match ups , it could be a good thing, the less popular fixtures get the flick, as far as Im concerned the fewer games in Mandurah and Joondalup the better from my point of view for South, a focus on better attended games means running grounds with a tiny crowd could be financially wise.

Yes I forgot Rance, without consulting Google I suspect the answer to all is less than 10 league games if any.

I would guess all of them spent maybe 1 year possibly 2 at a wafl club. So for the majority say, 90% of their football life they were elsewhere. The wafl club simply showcased them for a very small amount of time and cashed the cheque from the AFL.

Have you spoken to any of the players on how they feel about a 10% pay cut?

And Powell-Pepper.
All played WAFL League.
All would have spent at least 5 years at a WAFL club from 13/14yo up.
How many have made it from Whitfords Amateurs and if any how many years did they spend at McDonald Reserve and how many games?

Kennedy was part of EF Mid West talent academy/ EF under age squads as a youngster alongside Ryder etc...plus played a year of actual colts and a few league games for EF before going to Carlton.....so pretty sure Kennedy has had at least a 3 - 5 year connection at EF...enough for the guy to always return to EF when ever he can to help support the club....this sort of connection will be gone under the new structure....

DW it would be interesting indeed to see who the BCG actually consulted.

Here is my list:

(i) WAFC and associated employees;
(ii) West Coast Eagles;
(iii) Fremantle Dockers;
(iv) the AFL;
(v) M Sheahan and the TAC clubs;
(v) the already constructed prior to the review WAFC supplied recommendations.

As I said in another psot Swans weren't consulted. It is patently clear that the East Perth FC weren't consulted.

Were WAFL clubs' supporters consulted? Patently not given the timing of the review.

hope they have some figures showing the terrible decline in percentage of WA kids that make the AFL system against how many WA kids play the game in the past 30 years....only then could figures be truly believed...and let's not include Auskick numbers but numbers from say under 11's upwards where kids actually choose themselves if they wanna play footy

How many colts' games? How many development games. You are imminently qualified to have worked for the BCG on the report.

Wow they all spent bugger all at wafl.

Do u understand the district model bh? Plenty of kids have come through whitfords and played on MacDonald and have gone on to AFL. Next time your down at MacDonald there is a wall of photos of all the players who went onto AFL.
