DW I guess that sums it up, there are all sorts of better reasons why jokers dont go back to where they played colts or even league, Jones got offered to wad of cash to amble around out at Lathlain in his dottage , pay a bit more of the mortgage off before giving it away.

Have to agree with you there...many a reason..,it is great to see former players coming back their WAFL clubs though....

I'm sure most of us and clubs included do continue to barrack for former players in their AFL careers despite our AFL club allegiances...great to see quality individuals returning and offering support and knowledge to the next gen of up and comers as well as those who will only ever play WAFL...hopefully too the players feel the love from people who have always had their best interests at heart in their development both before during and after their AFL careers...down at swans we never begrudge the boys that make the big dance but rather take great pride in their achievements as should all WAFL clubs...reality is so few players of our game as a percentage are able to make an AFL career out of footy such is the cut throat nature of the game and the draft, only so many spots available whilst the rest of us just get to dream and ponder, did we give it all we had? That's were the privilege that BH talks about comes in to it.

So in other words clubs will no longer get any extra help to survive. He also said that clubs who have recently embarked on new development facilities will be burdened with regular maintanence costs. Interesting. I wonder if my club SD will rethink our mooted development now?
Fuck this Taylor shits me! Another AFL puppet

Another nobody appointed in a footy position with no football pedigree or knowledge of our history , bit like that Thunderbirds are go lookalike over in Victoria McDickhead

I'm pretty sure they picked up those habits suddenly coming into a lot of money being on an AFL list and having an immense amount of free time being on an AFL list.

But still, once the 4 hour per day commitment is done, how is anybody going to fill the other 20 hours?

Still, Kevin Sheehan reckons its a good system...so it must be

They might beat Brisbane or Gold Coast but apart from that Wooden Spoon is a chance.
