Take your pathetic puerile hatred of everything SDFC off to your own thread created by Swan42 champ ...how anyone can have a dig at another clubs facilities considering their own clubs ground and fixture had to be moved to another ground only a week ago for not being up to an acceptable WAFL standard defies logic!

Anyone know what happened to Neates? Looked like a lower leg injury and was on crutches after the game but he was in good hands as Subiaco provided most of the trainers and physio for the day.

I'm just trying to warn others not to take their kids to Basso until things improve.

Obviously last weeks game was shifted due to the playing surface not being up to AFL standards and not the grounds facilities being sub standard but nice try anyway.

TOSG.....interesting to hear you were specific with your assessment mate....toilets, drunks and no bouncy castle or face painting.....yet BH sweeps over with a generalised comment.....ground was a treat.....what the arena playing surface?.....and there were plenty of childrens activities.....yet not naming one?.......I guess leap frogging the fallen picket fences or side stepping the drunks do count as childrens activites I guess?.....as for the toilets?....well when in Rome.....do as the locals do I guess TOSG

......but hey at least the beer was cold to numb the boredom of the one sided spectacle on that well presented playing arena.......something most SD fans have sadly come reliant on this year when watching their boys play....speaking of such, well done to all those SD colts, reserves and league boys for beating the state 16's by 6 points....thought with SD depth of talent at the club the result would of been a tad more, esp considering the age, size and fitness descrepancy between the two teams......but I guess that is a positive sign for the WAFL's future that the state has some talented 15/16 year olds coming through.......good day all round....congrats to all involved.

To be fair and not completely one sided I thought the outer can bar was a fantastic setup, well done to CUB on that one. The playing surface was good, just a bit of mud in the center but it's a WAFL ground so that's not a problem. The grass banks in the outer are arguably the best in the WAFL and the new scoreboard puts Leedys to shame. But I am being totally honest when I say that the facilities and maintenance are sub standard and to have a kid nearly bowled over by a drunk is unacceptable.

Too true TOSG.....Basso oval is a fantastic place to watch n play footy.....by far the best in the WAFL.....just disappointing to hear your comments regarding some of the specifics which may of genuinely been an over sight....Lathlain and Steel Blue will no doubt be the home for state games in WA due to their size and facilities compared to other existing WAFL grounds....hopefully your constructive critique will be taken on board.

Interesting comment on the SD Indigenous boys vs WA 16s game sight unseen Freeze a good spectacle and no 16s boys were hurt FYI
Just for your sake seeing as tho you have been so eagerly concerned with this fixture the Swans senior boys to play were only Riddoch, Dean, Wilson, Ansey & Stack with a few Colts boys in Stewart, Yorkshire, Price & Hodder. The rest of the squad that PLAYED yesterday were made up of boys from the SD Year 11s & 12s. Many of our indigenous boys at the club were unable to play in the game. A good chance for all our boys to have a bit of FUN playing as a group together and to show the flair the guys are well renowned for. FYI we also provided about half a dozen to the WA 16s side who have some good kids in that group. Anything else you would like to know about this particular game that has pretty much fark all to do with you or your club freeze? ..as some might sadly believe there to be an undertone to your posts about it that suggests some underlying bias anti to the BLACK & WHITE!

Fancy a $ubi supporter having a crack at another clubs ground considering their own pigswill of a ground was deemed unfit for football only a week ago!!

there's a big difference between the surrounds of a ground looking like a New Delhi rubbish tip and the playing surface being deemed unacceptable by a bunch of fairies worried they'd break a nail...even more so when you consider leederville is shared by 2 WAFL clubs. the vision last Saturday on channel 7 of the outer at bogandean was cringeworthy and there's no way around that. it appears your club caters for beer swilling drunken bums but not families with young children

Really where's that statement saying Peel didn't want to play, Cam did tweet Peel were only following WAFC directions though, but no Schoey told us Peel didn't want to play when he had no proof whatsoever that was the case , fancy being called soft for not playing footy on a unsafe ground.

What makes me laugh how a supposed supperter of Freo calls them the Dorkers to make himself look good in fromt if his fellow Subi supporters, your club is right up there with the alignment clubs ruining WAFL footy, any other coach taking his players out of this state game would of probably copped a fine.
