ABC radio only broadcast 11 or 12 rounds in season 2014 From memory, the same number of rounds from 2013 and did not broadcast some rounds in 2012 too. All these budget cuts does not instil a great deal of confidence. Apparently the budget cuts shouldn't affect programming according to Malcolm?

hey who'll have time to watch footy on tv, we'll all be doing overtime sowe can try and afford our grocery bills which will have gone up so much because all our food will be getting sent to China and in our rare spare time we'll be hanging out at Elizabeth quay

What cuts Bazza. Abbott said the night before the election that there would be no cuts in the funding of the ABC and SBS. Surely, surely Abbott didn't break that promise?

from memory what he said was there would be no cuts over and above those proposed by Labor...and anyway, every other Govt organisation has to tighten their belts because of the previous Govts economic ineptitude and the debt they left this country in, why should the ABC and SBS not do the same?

The GAYBC ( as the great labor man Neville Wran called them ) or more perhaps the ALPBC will still have a massive 5 Billion dollar budget going forward..

What annoys me is the way they spend it, why the hell do they need so many channels? I could not beleive it when they launched a 24 hrs news service, I mean what a complete waste of money, all they needed to do was go 24 on their xisting main channel put in more news breaks if needs be, to to run another whole channel with what is a pretty piss weak service compared to the likes of CNN I have no idea, then there are the other channels, plus numerous radio stations, not to mention the blatant left wing bias on the ABC, actually im surprised they dont have a dedicated gay marriage channel its all they ever bloody discuss.

Gay marriage... I'd have to agree It seems that way, but what I don't understand is they embrace the minority... Oh hang on, where is our WAFL then?
