Shark58 -- You have to be careful how many other clubs you put before your football firing squad: Perth are on record as wanting the alignment, which means you are down to five clubs; could also include South and CL for both having the alignment in the past -- woops, that is only three clubs left.

Ark.....got nothing against Subi.....just saying if leedy is on the money and Subi are gazumping rival clubs for recruits by flashing the cash, then pretty soon Subi will be no different in most WAFL opposition fans eyes as EP and Peel are, in regards to where their riches / advantages are coming from.......but hey if other WAFL clubs had their chance way back to jump on the Subi Oval gravy train and passed it up Subi sharing the wealth.....than more fool us.....

the only spilt milk I am gonna cry about, is EF kicking 7.26 in the prelim and handing Subi a GF spot, which they duly converted into a well earned premiership win.....once again more fool EF for kicking so badly.....thought EF would of at least learnt from their point kicking bonanza in the 2013 Foxtel cup TBH!!

Aha! The famous " we offered all other clubs seats" myth. Would you like to explain when this offer was made and the specific details that the offer entailed? .......and then wonder why no club took up this wonderful opportunity!

yeah I've always found this claim strange? why would only 1 of 8 clubs take up such a deal?

Looks like the WAFC is in a real mess, 9 resignations in protest of the recent sackings. Case of the "rats leaving a sinking ship"???? Starting to get a really bad feeling.

Excuse my ignorance, but wasn't this why the points system was brought in? To stop the likes of clubs like Subi being able to just flash the cash and get whoever they want? I think Subi was one of the chief reasons the points system was brought in.

Surly there has to be a limit to how many players Subi will be able to recruit/steal!!

Don't think the WAFC will be around much longer......the AFL clubs got their man in ie Walton ex-Docker, and the AFL (read Victorians) sitting back waiting to get the two WA AFL licences at a bargin price as beggars can't be choosers......... sackings, mass resignations-9 quit yesterday, no money, no major stadium sponsor at Subiaco oval, failure to secure a TV deal for 2nd tier comp 4 months out before the new season starts, new stadium with possibly no management rights to the WAFC, traditional WAFL clubs struggling for $$$ and thus survival, WAFL clubs split into G7 & WART/FART,reducing $$$$ that WAFL clubs receive for drafted players, etc etc etc. Bring on the revolution!

Saw a report during the week whereby some ex Wafl players and sponsors are questioning the worth of said commission. But no names were mentioned at all. Not sure if anybody else heard the same.
