Totally agree Jardine. The clubs need to have a culture change though and become more pro-active in aiming for a goal such as this.

It would seem many clubs current goal (including Swans) is to produce AFL players to reap the fees paid by the AFL clubs. A possible by product of the WAFC.

Circa 2010, I have no doubt that if Swans had a list of all the players that had been Swans on the AFL list, plus top up players from the WAFL side they would have been a formidable side in any league.

Same could have been said for East Fremantle, Norwood and others.

If I had Richard Bransons money, I would have bank rolled a super league by now. I may have invited a couple of struggling AFL clubs to relocate to Hobart and Darwin too.

Channel 7 will telecast games with rumour that the first two games will be on 7 not 7mate as AFL season starts after WAFL. Hope the rumour is true.

Would be a great boost to the start of the season. Just need to get fixturing right, a Fremantle derby week 2 would be perfect.

Rumour is they want two night games as the run in to the AFL season, more than likely WART v FART one week then probably South v East Freo, but wouldn't surprise me if WART featured in both weeks.

What are C7 likely to pay the clubs for right to cover games, they might play any time against any one if fianancial dividend is there.

Correct BC. I am sick of hearing about the bloke. I couldn't give a fk what he does. The media in this city is obsessed with that drug cheating club. If I'm still around when it happens then the day they move into Lathlain will be the day I quit Perth.
