BH is right, today as mentioned in another thread I was in a café in Mt Lawley today and a young bloke walked in wearing a Swans hoodie, he would have been 16/17, and about an 1 and a half earlier when I was at a client in Mosman Park a truck driver doing a delivery stopped and said outside his window "Love your stickers mate! Carn the ducks" I know it is only 2, but in the space of a couple of hours I was impressed. I think there is a lot of dormant WAFL support out there, we just need to find a way to tap it

Maybe he was filling his truck rather than emptying it

Absolutely no body talks WAFL at my workplace , nobody even knows it s on, if you mention it you just a weird look of WTF?

The office is covered in AFL regalia , when was the last tie your workplace had a wafl tipping comp...probably 15 years ago.

It's a hard life being a public servant and I need to travel for work purposes. Everywhere I go, one never sees a Wafl tipping comp. If I ask are they conducting one, everyone wonders what the hell I'm talking about!

I know what you mean. Even over here in the east we see the odd 4x4 with caravan pull through town with EFFC or SFFC plates. I even had a bloke come into work with a Peel Thunder hat on.

When I first moved over, there was a bloke in a Toyota Landcruiser ute with heaps of Swans stickers. Have seen the odd South Freo and West Perth ones on ACT rego'ed cars too.

I took a photo of a car in the main street of Queanbeyan of a Hyundai with Swans Plates on. It's somewhere on a various post. Even had it park next to me at ALDI's when I had a swans sticker on the Commodore.

I saw this kid kicking a footy half time at a NEAFL match (okay he's mine).

And I regularly wear Swans merchandise.

I also worked with another Swans supporter in Queanbeyan, and at the same time another bloke who played colts for East Perth.

Mike.

I am always delighted to see the amount of Swans personalised number plates & stickers on cars up here in the heart of WP territory & also seeing the odd SD legend that lives up here as well!! :)

Oh yeah - they have disappeared infact the only WAFL tipping comp I know that exists now is on Ofooty.com

I remember in the 80's every man and a dog had one.

I mentioned once at work how about we include WAFL and they said...but nobody follows that anymore!

Even footy tipping is somewhat passe these days especially for those of us that are under the age of 40 ..it is all about dream team/fantasy/supercoach to the younger generation!

Yes it annoys the hell out of me that look of surprise you get when you say I follow wafl, - weird they think.
I'm nearly 40 and I have only 6 mates I can count who I can talk wafl with. 3 tigers, one bulldog, and two sharks. And a swan but we're not talking at the moment..
A state of 2 million people and we follow two corporations dressed up as football clubs, boring
