About Peel Thunder are going to change their name to Fremantle Dockers,
At the end of this year. So far the feed back is Yes

so far, As I had two phone calls early in the morning to ask me if this is true. So I put some calls out to some people in the know.

gee amazing , that is going to cause a major stir,,,might as well because they will be the dockers I guess, sure will change the WAFL for good. How long till the East perth eagles come along?

what I have been told, that this is only a name change for marketing reasons . I guess that we will need to wait for Peel to make it a official.

Yep I reckon they will be in Cockburn as soon as they can, that is now becoming obvious.

Yep mandurah will get rushton I guess, i dont think the dockers will care about that.

george this is defo a marketing move as you say, it will have huge implications for the two freo WAFL clubs as sponsors drift towards the freo dockers in the WAFL. This could cost sf and ef huge dollars.
