Freo Oval sold out in two days in 2020, that was with a covid cap of 10,000 though, what is this 14000?

I get a sense a lot of people are staying away in protest of it I’m not being at Optus and the fear the commission will try to claim this as a success. 

In 2020, it was accepted due to COVID but it was meant to be a  one off.
It also didn’t hurt that South were in it and it was their celebration year.

I would of thought with WP in it at their true home , Cardies would of snapped up tickets in big numbers, but it appears not.

 

Was speaking with old mate on the telephone wire this morning, and online tickets are still available I'm hearing. 
Not sure if people can walk up to the gates on match day and purchase like we used to be able to in years past?
Serious questioning will need asking if the attendance is poor!!

No gate sales.  90% tickets sold.

Colts -WP by 6 .
Ressies -WP by 12.
League -WP by 18.

There's an article on Perth Now about the day and how it's going to be a festival of footy with street closures and performing artists and so on. It also had a shot of the oval and gotta say, it looks terrific if the photo was anything to go by.

GTR WP have the most experienced WAFL list I can remember in recent history (post Eagle/Dockers afl) with around 14 players in their senior squad with over 100 WAFL League games and thus should win the League & Reserves pretty easily with that amount of nous, not too mention a fortnight off to rest up, so no excuses.
The Colts might be the closest game on the day and Peel may well take it right up to the top of the ladder side.
