When Perth were copping 100 point plus thrashing’s at the hands of Claremont, Swans and South’s on a regular basis in the early/mid 80’s we really needed a Craig Vozzo to come out and say “this can’t keep happening”. If only.

Injury crisis' don't dictate forced compromise of a state league by changing the rules to suit selves - Vozzo should be concentrating on the little problem that has resurfaced once more at Meth Coast

that being said recruiting caps will have to be raised for all WAFL clubs if these bastards get their way given they are professional players

Just tell them NO - it's easier

Obviously a victory over EF isn't something to get excited about, but geez isn't amazing how ones fortunes can change in a short space of time. After that WBD thrashing, SF could find themselves facing a WCER side with a few senior AFL players in it......Be a SF meltdown if Kelly turns out for the blue n gold this weekend. Is there enough time for WCER  to sneak into the finals? If they do, could they sneak a flag?

Freeze, they beat Subi as well and I reckon the team EF faced was better. They should win a few more over the journey- finals? Don’t think so but who knows

Why does the WAFL feel obliged to play Eagles and Dockers reserves? East Freo losing to 15 AFL players and recently delisted Hamish Brayshaw and Jarrod Gartlett is not the issue. I thought we did all right all things considered. The real issue here is the unfairness of having 2 sides stacked with AFL players, ignoring salary and points caps or even bothering to correctly name their squads. For fans of the WAFL it seems an abysmal situation. Both the Eagles and the Dockers should be told to go forth and multiply.

Used to have a great little comp. 8 teams, three rounds of seven.

Then we let the Vics and those who deep down want to be Vics take over,

It’s worked out really really well. Not.
Your problem is my unlearned friend, is that there are about 10 or 20 people here (I’ll admit that I’m one of them) that don’t want the Eagles (or Freo) in the WAFL.  Unfortunately for people like you that can’t accept that the footy world is changing, there are probably 200,000 people out there that either want them in, or don’t care. So, even a person of your “intellect”, would or should know who is going to win.

The very simple but unpalatable to the AFL club's solution is to go back to what we had with the AFL listed guys spread through the traditional 8 WAFL clubs. They can train all week with WCE or Freo but go back to their club of origin on Saturday if they don't get picked in the AFL seniors. It'll never happen I know but it would certainly solve the current problem.

To pose a hypothetical: if the lockdown was lifted at 12.01 am on Saturday is there really an impediment for the WAFL games to be played on Saturday?   I would suggest that the games could be played.  Of course, the WCE reserves team would have consisted of a completely non-WAFL team and the Peel team would have been as they were last year.  Would that have compromised the games anymore than they are already compromised?

It may solve the current problem but it would also create new problems. Imagine 1 or 2 WAFL clubs have nicely settled league teams and their coach does not want to play out of form Bailey Williams or Josh Rotham ahead of guys who have been busting their gut week in week out for months or just finds Jake Waterman's mullett utterly repulsive and sends him home?

You clearly have no idea about how the WAFL is financed.

How long do you think Perth will keep the doors open without WAFC funding or suckling from West Coasts nipple every week with your ground sharing arrangement?
