The WAFL/AFL experiment has failed so get rid of them.  Problem is we go to 7 teams and keep the same problem numbers wise.

42...you conveniently forgot to mention the other lie mate....no SD player would openly choose to wear the alignment colours over the SD black n white stripes....sadly no one told Ty Sears...played colts for SD all year, yet puts on the yellow n blue strip for the WCER yesterday v EF...was it a day light kidnapping or something...

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong here.By no means do I try and defend the Eagles.The scoreboard at Lathlain Park saids something about the Eagles.
But the current rules on the Eagles Wafl side.The AFL side has a lot of injuries.And under the current rules the top up players are Under 23's sourced from outside the Wafl.Who are not up to Wafl standard.The teams set up to fail..
Peel + Freo recruit players in like Schofield .And are always looking for good top up players.West Coast don't.

GTR, I agree, except that the Eagles team is set up to be good, but not too good. That's part of the problem, it corrupts the integrity of the comp if you have the WAFC pulling levers season by season depending on how the Eagles go. So if they allow the Eagles more quality players next year, and they have a good run with injuries, they may be very strong. In which case they will lose concessions the season after, and so on it goes. You can't have a real comp where one team is not only not playing to win, but is having its list artificially manipulated season by season.

They asked other WAFL clubs for top up players on the weekend because they were unable to obtain any players from the amateurs. They borrowed two players from Swans Reserves on the weekend that didn't get a game. That's an awful look. If they cannot field a side they shouldn't be in the competition.

Think EF have given their senior team enough players over the years.....good to see SD were  so forthcoming.... considering 42 has a canary whenever ex SD boys suit up for an alignment team v SD, quite surprised 42 wasn't down at EF on Saturday protesting this travesty....

was it bob hawke or 42 who said by 2021 no swan districts player will be wearing west coast eagles jumpers.

Why would another WAFL club loan players to West Coast?? Will the favour be returned?? Will Swans get Hutchings or Ah Chee at some stage???
