Yes, well said, JT. Good to see someone who is not just an Eagles lapdog. JT has always been opposed to alignments. BThe whole thing is embarrassing and requires a strong response from the WAFC. They made finals in their first year, withdrew completely in season 2, and now can't field a full team. No reserves, no colts, stating that they have no intention of winning flags, and publicly bagging the top up players helping them out. What an absolute shambles, unbelievable arrogance, disrespect and entitlement,

One would think that the top-up players, who are helping the Eagles out, would not appreciate those comments.  It would be interesting to see what would happen if those top-up players decided to withdraw their services a few minutes before a game, especially if it was the Channel 7 televised game.

Next thing you know, the bastards will be whinging because their frilly pink tutu's are getting dirty!!

Since 2013, Perth have finished at the foot of the league ladder on three occasions. Have they been given any concessions, special treatment or became a cry baby because they were losing matches and sometimes thrashed to the max? Swans in 2016 lost a hell of a lot more than 5 matches and their stats from that season are bad reading.
Perhaps the struggling Wafl clubs can have a 'drastic change to their relationship' with the Wafl too!?

Given how bad our season was in 2016 5 wins would have been an outstanding result relatively speaking.  In that season there were around 6 to 7 matches where we kicked fewer than 7 goals.

In a few weeks time WC will be getting back some of their injured player so the WCER will get stronger and stronger as the season goes on. I expect they will win between 5 and 8 matches by the end of the season, will they still be winging or will they sand bag it so they can justify their whinging?

Apparently WCE say the medical sub at AFL games, reduced squad size and a tightening soft cap are making it harder to field a competitive team in the WAFL. Haven’t they always had an “emergency” travel with the team? Haven’t the last few on their list been barely WAFL standard? Isn’t the WAFL salary cap the same? Can’t see how any of that has made a difference. But like everyone in the WAFL, injuries and losing key players from your list affect performance.

In 2019 their fill in amateur players were a lot better than the group they have now. I think this has also impacted on their competitiveness

Apparently according to the learned WCE management this injury business is only a new phenomenon and has never affected another WAFL team ever previously only the WCER this season!!

It’s important to remember nothing is ever the eagles fault so it’s up to everyone else to help them out
