Geography clearly not a strong point of yours.

You're probably right.
The grounds in the country are far superior.

The vista of blokes holding tinnies in the outer not do it for you BC? It did look a bit too ramshackle on the box - shame to see the comp reduced to this.

TE $9 for a can of lukewarm VB was literally taking the piss!
Whilst $25 to stand in the sun (as 90% of the ground has no shade) and or take your chances of getting piles by sitting on the concrete slabs for 9 hours is a bit much me thinks.
I would pay $30 to sit in comfort at Optus Stadium everyday of the week!

Maybe he's a country footballer.
Pity he missed playing finals.
Missed an opportunity to impress AFL recruiters.

aside from plastic seats, protection from the weather, giant screens, spectator and media amenities Optus allows for a ticketing pricing structure - something somehow lost on the WAFC.

Shame looks like he will be hanging around Moss Street for many seasons to come then.

It is a no brainer (something aplenty at WAFC HQ) given the 2 options and at the same $25 entry fee!

Well done to Souths on winning it, but agree it was shocking to watch, If this is the standard of the WAFL then I wonder why we pour so much money into it.

Fremantle Oval hosting a Grand Final was a massive millstone christ somehow we lifted it enough to bloody sneak out - it wasn't a terribly clever decision
like a few other grounds the old girl requires some coin and care

Yes...not having a crack at SFFC who I think did a terrific job in pulling it all together under very difficult circumstances but playing the GF at a suburban ground to save some coin is just unfathomable. The SANFL must be laughing themselves silly at the sight of a GF crowd sitting on concrete steps.

BC the SANFL can quite rightly beat their chests that they are the superior League now that we have reduced ourselves to Amateur level by playing our time honoured 136yo WAFL GF at a suburban ground whilst they still hold their League in prestige and hold all Finals at SA's premier stadium the Adelaide Oval!
Well done to Gavin Taylor & co...what a mess you have left!
