Wondering the time for bounce-down on Sunday?
Thus far have heard the times of 1430, 1515 and 1530 for the game start. Not sure what to believe.

The one and only time I’ve heard is for 3.10 unless it’s changed.

You cannot beat the WAFL for bad luck timing, nothing for weeks AFL wise, and then the WAFL GF ends up the day after the one and only Eagles final to be played in Perth.

Expect the entire event to be swamped by the Eagles in the media, and if people go to the game Saturday its unlikely they will go to both Sunday.

Bazza all of that could have been avoided if we had played a proper 16 game season (play all opposition at home & away) starting back in late June the same as the SAFL and then had finals starting in late October/early November thus avoiding the afl finals altogether.
But no some certain clubs (who didnt want a season to go ahead at all) with the help of the WAFC decided on this *2020* "season" instead with a pitiful 8 games and a GF being played at a suburban ground where it is a shit fight to get tickets...also better hope there is no rain either judging by the Preliminary Final which only had 5k and all were fighting for every little bit of shelter available...Joondalup would have been just as bad with 4k at the 1st Semi the same applied!
That is one of a number of reasons why your 135yo State League's 'show piece' premier event should always be at Perth Stadium!

Agree on the 16 game season and yep finals should of been way after the AFL in Nov or so.

Fremantle is a done deal for the WAFL GF this year as a one off most likely. Its a weird year the MCG is empty and they are playing at the crappiest AFL ground in Oz instead because McGowans half arsed interest in the event. It should of been Optus or Adelaide.

Joondalup would of been a crap venue, too far away and they wanted 20K to play there. Freo they get for free and the council has tipped in 10K in support.

City of Vicnent had zero interest in hosting it at Leedervile, and the surface is crap anyway.

BH agree with all you say, just one minor correction, the SANFL was 14 games as there were 8 teams participating and 2 full rounds. They are having a week off so they don't clash with the Port home final, which is Thursday I think. They continue to show the way with how to run a state league.

Guys I am hearing they won't allow chairs into the GF, so just be aware of that, might save you a trip back to your car..
