To be honest Baz I think it's an insult to the WAFL players, coaches, staff, volunteers and supporters to play the GF at a suburban ground in front of a maximum 10k crowd. Even Subi v SF attracted 20k last year so to down grade the event in such a way to save $100k is a disgrace.

Absolutely fucken spot on. What were the crowds for AFL matches during this hub? I know one crowd a couple of weeks ago was just 13,000. Not a Fucken problem for the AFL is it. You WAFC commissioners are a bunch of useless flogs. The whole fucken lot of you.

Absolute disgrace that as DD said we can have Hawthorn Carlton at Optus but the WAFL grand final which would attract double the crowd easily we have to play elsewhere because of the “cost”. I’m just about at stt’s level also, at the point where you wonder whether it’s worth investing emotion in this doomed competition anymore.

VenuesWest was too greedy in asking for $20k for Joondalup Oval and $100k for Optus Stadium according to the West Australian newspaper.

What should happen is the WACA be used to host future Grand Finals.
