Tuff stuff would be kelmscott coming out and admitting they have a cultural problem, kicking out the thugs before the waafl intervenes.

All clubs are now on notice that this sort of alleged behaviour has to stop.

As I understand it, a system has been introduced for the coaches where he/she gets 10 points. They lose 1 point for a player getting a yellow card and 2 points for a red card or a melee. If their points total reaches 10, the coach him/herself gets suspended.

90-1 (9000%) is much better than a 152-19 (800%) win..

Did the Kelmscott reserves forfeit?

Whilst I accept that Kelmscott have had some serious issues, they never had any depth that was likely to sustain their place in A Grade anyway. There have been a number of clubs that have come and gone over the years making it into A Grade and then failing because they didn't have a reserve side capable of backing the A Grade up.

Whilst I have no doubt Scarborough will be an A Grade force this year with their Subiaco connections, I do not have much faith in Hamersley Carine making any impact. If you look at the results yesterday Hamersley Carine were beaten by 10 goals in the League and 17 goals in the Reserves whilst Kelmscott were beaten by 22 goals in the League and a forfeit in the Reserves.

It seems that this year's A Grade competition has been seriously compromised already.

It is a shame that Kelmscott were not encouraged to drop down to B Grade or C1 to give themselves a chance of building their player group. Stiring & Maddington in recent years have dropped down a couple of grades after flirting with an A Grade gig and are much more likely to build their club's future.
