Reading between the lines I dare say there is a lot more to this.

Does anyone else find it odd that the spokesman for Kelmscott throughout this whole saga has always been listed as an advocate??

Why not Club president? Vice President? a committee representative? Is it possible that Kelmscott have no committee or club President. Not even a contact on the WAAFL website, The only club not listing a contact. waafl.com.au/resources-/clubs

If I were one of the WAAFL club presidents I would be asking for a full list of the exec committee including President so when the inevitable king hit comes people can be held responsible, legally.

Has an AGM been held? where are the minutes? It would list the new committee.

My guess is the volunteers at Kelmscott are too scared to put their name to anything because of the thug players that will expose them to legal action.

How on earth can the WAAFL let them participate if there is no administration.

Memo sent today to all clubs from the Ammos.....

The Kelmscott SFC team nominations for 2016 were subject to several conditions including a
written player management plan signed by the Club’s coaches and at least two duly authorised
officers of the Club being submitted and approved by the WAAFL.
The WAAFL received the signed plan from the Club Tuesday 12 April 2016.
The WAAFL Board and myself are satisfied with the initiatives that are to be pursued by the Club
as part of the signed plan and commend the Club’s commitment to the “culture first, football
second” vision outlined at their recent AGM.
Accordingly, the Kelmscott SFC were advised Wednesday 13 April 2016 that their team
nominations for A Grade, A Reserves and Phil Scott Colts were accepted and the Club permitted to
play from round 2 this weekend.

And it's a pretty good bet,there will be some Smartarses,rattling the Doggies'Cage.

Then what?

If their players are mentally weak then there's no doubt a yellow/red card will issued within minutes of the opening bounce.

I think this whole saga looks pretty average for the WAAFL. Giving a one week penalty is only penalising the other eight teams that don't get the points and percentage from playing Kelmscott. Either sort this out before the season starts or if you want to make a statement then dish out a decent penalty and stick to it. Remember the last time the WAAFL penalised Kelmscott they dropped them down to C Grade and they went on to win C & B Grade Flags, a huge punishment that was.

Not really, its what had to be done to protect the clubs that play them. As a result Kelmscott are now on the hook for any future thuggery. The moment a kelmscott player king hits an opposition with his backed turned (this is their preferred method of attack) Kelmscott will be booted out.

It would mean they have failed to implement any of the player management policy they have been talking about and failed in their attempts to manage the thugs. This is a well designed way of putting them on notice until the next ambulance arrives.- then its a permanent goodbye.

And your preferred method of attack is? A post on an anonymous forum? Tough stuff.
