Aaron Zucconi to join Maddington or back to his old club South Mandurah! Quietly confident that the Bulls will get him

I saw the adam hunter clearance very interesting for whitfords
Haven't heard of any pick ups for maddo i did hear they lost 1 or 2 good players though
As for wanneroo i think everyones over rating their pick ups burns is 34 this yr and salecic 31 great players to have around there younger players for experience but not sure how much of an impact at that age they will have in a very strong B grade comp the young talent they have is the future u wouldnt wana loose them playing to many 30+ players in the team
Wembly picking up matt moody and possibly nick kane certainly strengthen them and probably overtake scarborough as my top pick other than aiden parker haven't heard of anymore names there and no other clearances pending for them
I saw aaron sweet in the clearances to stirling he is former east perth isnt he ??? Would be a handy pick up
Any news out of collegians ???? No rumours is probably a bad thing for them

Sweet started his senior footy career with Stirling back when Stirling were in A Grade.

Does Wembley still have Kruger playing for them? I cant see them being that strong purely on 1 or 2 recruits. Washed up WAFL players don't win A Grade or B Grade premierships.

C.Branch will coach the reserves . After former reserves coach Paul Dilena left to coach the league side at Noranda.
Interesting to note that ADAM HUNTER is a pending clearance to Whitfords...

Ask and you shall receive King! I will even give my thoughts on each

Top 5
Scarborough - I have it on good authority that there is a large Subiaco contingent (plus a few from previous cash playing roles in the South West league) so I will back them in this year

Whitfords - A Grade is strong. Can't not back them in to come back up. They are a cashed up club, with a large membership base. They wont settle on sitting in B Grade, so with Hunter or not, they will still be strong.

Wembley - I will tip them to fall just short again. With Seal and co they will be strong again, and I do agree that Moody will help. There are 2 types of WAFL players in the ammos. The flat track bully, those that run amok and dominate games. Then there is the ones with big reputations, but don't even offer a yelp when the going gets tough on the smaller ammo ovals. Interesting to see which one their big names will be.

Swan Ath - hard to not see them in the 5. Huge home ground advantage out in the Valley, and a strong squad. If they keep the McPhersons on the ground, as well as their core midfield (plus add in J Embley), then they will be fine.

Wanneroo - I will back them in for the 5th slot with no confidence. Some recruit help, and the home ground advantage will help.

Bottom 5:
Maddington - my boys have an ageing list but we will be around the mark. With Catalano and our big red getting older and slower I cant see them winning enough to get in. They will be tough to beat and will throw up the odd surprise win against good opposition, but just miss. Hoping they make it though. Depth is our challenge as always.

Hamersley/Carine - always competitive. I don't know enough about them. They seem to jump up to A Grade then come straight back down. They will finish between 5th and 8th.

Collegians - majority of their team left to go to Country a year ago, plus some of their decent players went to WAFL. Poor year last year and cant see them turning it around.

Stirling - if they do get Sweet on board, that could be good enough to hold off relegation, but I doubt it. The issue with Stirling is the fact that no depth.

Kingsway - again I don't care much for C Grade, so I know very little, but it will be a big challenge to go from C Grade to beating strong B Grade sides.

It could be a very even comp this year.

Strong rumours that Schammer Time at Collegians is calling up the likes of Peter bell and Paul Hasleby to do a big push to achieve a promotion. With Chris Tarrant moving back to perth this year i wonder who will get his number first? Id like to see these transfers be accepted first though.

Nice write up maddo legend i think your giving whitfords abit to much credit coming down after a couple of years of losing can be tough just look at your boys winning is a culture and it might take them abit to learn how to
Win games consistently again
I also think your under rating your boys at maddo looking at results from last year ( they beat both grand final teams in season and thumped the hell outa the roo boys last game of the year) they were never far off and i believe they blooded a few younger players so with abit more consistency there my possible improver this year they also should have a nice home ground advantage this year with B grade teams almost all north of the river
On collegians lol belly and hase arent the answer there definitely wouldn't get them promoted they need to rebuild a broken club from the ground up through there abundance of youthful talent in my opinion

Kingsway were VERY good last year with very strong reserves and colts. I suspect a few people could be in for a surprise.

Been out of action for a while. Can give a run down on collegians. Gaining quite a few players back who we lost the last few years to country and other clubs. At least 8 quality new faces in the league side this year who were playing in the good old days of 2011/12 but weren't apart of it last year as well as many other players who will be strong in the ressies. It's the most numbers on the track in 2 years, a lot to do with the positive vibe around the place with players respecting a good coach. The club has high expectations this year. And yes, hasleby has been sighted down at training.
