Stirling and Hamersley had a scratchy on the weekend and apparently Stirling played well and had a fair few East Perth boys running around for them includingn Aaron Seeet and Ryan Maldenis, anyone see the game? Have heard Stirling won quite easily

Lots of big names being cleared to and from most B grade clubs so far be interesting to see if any club is holding any clearances back till the last minute.

I think this will be a very even comp this year with lots of tough games to try and predict a winner. as most of you have said its early still but here is my thoughts on what I have read and seen so far.

Scarborough - Been around the mark for a few years but haven't been able to make the gf and go up to A grade, with all the subi inclusions is this the year.

Wembley - A proud club who will want to make up for last years results, sure to find a big brown paper bag if needed, will challenge for top spot.

Wanneroo - Lots of big ins and sure to be a big improver with the names they have recruited hopefully they can perform and if they do will be hard to beat.

Whitfords - A big proud club with lots of depth, another who have recruited well especially hunter, will be aiming to go straight back to A grade but not sure they have enough quality to get there this year.

Swan Athletic - Will also be aiming to go straight back to A grade after a disappointing 2014 season, have new coaches so be interesting to see what they bring to the boys in the valley, always tough to beat at home but can they win enough away to be a real chance, depth may be a problem.

Kingsway - Don't know much about them but seem to have great depth looking at last years results winning 4 or 5 flags in different grades, this depth and winning culture should see them go alright this year.

Maddington - Always hard to predict, rely heavily on 2 or 3 players each year to carry them and not getting Zucconi will hurt, around the mark as always and will cause the odd upset but not enough to make finals.

Hamersley - Same as Maddington, win some lose others not much noise being made so think they will struggle.

Collegians - Will struggle again and will be trying to avoid relegation at best in my opinion.

Stirling - Seem to have picked up a few from East Perth but depth has always been a problem for them if this doesn't improve and they get some injuries to key recruits I think they will struggle to avoid relegation, on the other hand if the recruits perform could be a dark horse to cause some upsets to. Hard to pick which way they will go.

Should be a great season cant wait for round 1.

Also I hear Stirling won't have a colts side this year as well as an ageing reserves list so they will certainly be tested should they cop a few injuries however when they are at full strength they will be a good side. Kingsway and ocean ridge played scratch matches across all grades onthe weekend and I believe that whilst both sides were not at full strength, Kingsway won pretty comfortably ( 10 plus goals)

Stirling won't have a colts side but by the looks of things the 10-11 colts they did have are sticking around to play reserved making the side quite young not ageing

I think your predictions are pretty close to bang on Footy Fever. Scarborough must try and avoid the Prelim Final at all costs. Win the second semi and straight through to the grand final should be their goal. Don't want past years to come back and haunt them.

I'd probably have Kingsway in my top 5. Have many young players pushing through. Strong colts over the past 3-4 seasons will lead to a good league side and with their juniors mainly 16's & 17's playing in the Grand Finals last season I can only see them getting better.

I'd also be very happy if Wanneroo finished in the top 3. After not playing finals last season making finals would be a solid effort.

Dissappointing if Stirling can't field a colts side. I hope they are the only ones...

Collegians and Uni played eachother yesterday. Uni's foot skills was the clear difference between the teams but brutals showing they can match the intensity and running power of them by having a pretty level last quarter. Uni won by 6 or 7 goals on their home deck. Both sides missing several quality players.

Hamersly played coolbinia yesterday. Was a good hit out over the 3 games. Cwp colts had the better of them in a close encounter. Cwp fought hard in both the ressies and league games but hamersly were too strong in the end.
