Interesting idea's and not far off the mark. Of course EP would have to play some Eagles during the finals otherwise they wouldnt have a team.
Cap sounds like a good idea but maybe they will have that as only the eligble players would be able to play e.g players who have played 5 games. There will be a few who will only come back for 2/3 games etc who would not be able to play in the finals as not eligible. This would keep out most of the Key players for the Eagles.

As you say it should of been thought of and put into the negotiations. unless it was and thrown out? Good points though EP2019 and it could of made for a fairer comp. Will throw it a Brett on Sunday if he has time and see what the feedback is as a good idea. I can honestly say it never entered my head and I suspect many others. Bit late now though

Even a qualification of twelve or fifteen games for AFL players Cardy may be ok. I think this would be much more palatable for all concerned and probably means East Perth would be far from dominate come finals. Combine that with a cap during the year of ten and see how it evolves. A bit late she cried Cardy and we have what we have, I will put my hand up for East Perths share of the blame. But when will any other stake holder say wait a second we had our chance for a better outcome.

Well the best gauge will be what happens over the Finals series 2013.
If EP makes a clean sweep of it that should tell the story.
We will wait and see. Will be a few WAFL/WAFC committee red faced if they bury the other 3 sides.. Sunday will tell for a start.

In honest truth mate I think we are up against it this week with the plethora of Eagles dropping back to that mob!
But as they say making the finals is half the battle & a new mini season begins as of 2pm Sunday.
Hopefully your attendance at the game brings us some much needed luck mate ..Carn the Mighty Black Ducks!

Can't blame them BH, considering it's the last game their club is ever gonna play Like I said, I got a good feeling about this one. I'm glad their half full of Eagles reserves. Gives me twice as much reason to hate em!!! Only bloke I'm worried about playing is Hansen. Garlett is due to rip a game apart and word is he's got confidence back in his legs over past cupla weeks. Our backs has been huge of late. Tallen is on a mission to destroy Claremont and EP are in the way. Things are looking up. As for Dawson knowing our game plan, Hogwash. Not even our players know Harding's game plan so how would he. Let's hope the sun is shining Sunday and we'll punt them in to never never land.
