Either way, you won't know he is playing till he runs out on the ground. So you will have to go along to the game to find out. Masterful publicity from Swan Districts I'd say.

ALso i have some royals friends coming to the city from Mt.Barker to watch this game. I am sure you Swans folk will be hospitable on the day ?

Jardine...Have read a couple of posts of yours throughout the year and can say as a few others have that I feel for ya with regards to what's happening with your footy club and your feelings towards the alignment. A tough thing to stomach, as it would be for any of us who follow our WAFL clubs with passion if our club faced the same situation but for even one minute, in your worst nightmares did you ever contemplate that the end of days for the East Perth Footy Club as you/we know it would end at the hand of the mighty Black Ducks at Bassendean Oval, and on a Sunday to boot. In eager anticipation of the weekend, all I can say is "My condolences,sorry for your loss"

thank you DW. To be honest the whole thing still feels surreal . still cant believe they did it. i sort of decided i wont let it get to me, i like wafl because it is a 130 year local competition. dont like the people running it but thats another story.

Fact is we eastperth/ eagles what ever people call us are lumped with it, thats it. anyway lets not go down the sympathy and violin path.

support your Swans with gusto, dont let the wafc weakness, deminish your love for your beloved club or competition. you & club will go on regardless. good luck on sunday

Massive risk for Swans to include Hansen. He hasn't played all year and he can be as fit as you like but he's not match fit and that will be a problem if the East Perth defenders start running off him in the 2nd half. The only way it will work is if the other 21 Swans players are prepared to run their insides out to cover for him. If he can be parked in the goal square all day creating a contest he will command the attentions of Wilson or another big bloke, which in turn will free up Geappan, Garlett and co to play more creatively. A fascinating prospect, which way will Harding go? At very worst its put a spanner in the works of Dawson's pre match planning

Seriously??? He has apparently been running for WB yeah but he could not have played if Swans didn't clear him could he? Maybe played a few under permit.....anyone know? Anyhow I would think that it would be a HUUUUUUGE risk and the result that I expect ( WCEP in a canter, however I will celebrate wildly if we get up ) will only cause massive problems for the club/coach I would think!

It certainly was a talking point all around the city today MM until some bloke named Worsfold decided to ruin all the publicity!!
