Michie didn't play in the 2nd half as well, did Freo pull him as well. As bad as he umpiring was, SwanDog, you do have to give credit for Peel fighting back the way they did without 2 of their best players in the 2nd half.

have to disagree with the Swans supporters who were at the game and agree with those posters that did not see the game.
the umpires had no influence on the result, Swans got taught a lesson in how to defend - our defenders are too undisciplined and to give away 6-7 goals from free kicks kept Peel within striking distance yet up the other end the Peel guys were so discipined that over 4 quarters that did not make 1 infringment, an outstanding effort really..

and the umps were great and even gave the players and supporters from both sides a new rule - Charlie Cameron tackled a Peel bloke hard and they clashed heads so the Peel guy got a free for head high - a brilliant decision that even though not in the rule book added to the great day down at Peel..

MO either there was a huge tongue in your cheek or . . .

By my reckoning we got one goal from a 50 metre penalty which was paid on the wing. Peel conservatively got 6-7 goals directly from free kicks awarded inside their attacking 50m arc. Umpire Wardman, and I use the term umpire in an extreme loose interpretation of that word, awarded Swan Districts the massive total of ONE free kick in the entirety if the game.

What was paid as a free kick in Peel's forward line was SINGULARLY not awarded in Swans' forward line.

I am sure that WAFC employees and/or umpires' representatives read these posts. Here is a very simple task for them. Refute the claims of the Swans' supporters' postings and provide to George, which he can publish on this site, the unexpurgated and redacted umpires' advisors' review of Umpires Orr, Wardman and Shelton performances in the Peel versus Swans game from last Saturday.

No credit from me mate when a side get that much assistance from dubious (and dubious is being kind to the umps) umpiring decisions in their forward arc!!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

You obviously didnt witness the behaviour of the umpiring "fraternity" after the game then im guessing 42. A certain advisor should have been fired from his position at 9am this morning by the WAFC for his disgraceful language & behaviour to Swans supporters. I would doubt that any of them could even have the ability to write nor turn on a computer let alone provide a report for George to post to us all on ozfooty!
