Read your posts again. According to you it's legal for a spectator to run onto a sports ground and lay hands on an umpire. If someone jumps the fence during a cricket match and runs to the middle of the ground and shoves an ump that's fine in your book? The bloke would be arrested in the spot. As he would if it happened in any AFL game. Do you think ground intruders at at AFL games and other sports without even laying a finger on anyone get away with it with a slap on the back by the cops behind closed doors and told to not do it again....
