Well that leaves me some what confused about the role of a moderator.

DD...very true about EF riches in the tall man department...but hard to have on field success if they are taken out of your system at 18....never to return....due to AFL longevity...but that is footy....it's one thing producing them, it's another keeping them....or getting them back before they are past their sell by dates...Griff whilst a good player these last two years, was way better when he played for Peel when at Freo...Perth's zone has produced some crackers of late in Stack, Hill, Robertson, Fisher, English et al...not Perth's fault they are all midgets...that's life....so don't woe us with that poor Perth zone line....

Why didn’t the idiots at Perth ask for one of the abundant (apparently) number of talls at EF for Leggett??

The role of moderators on club boards is to deal with trolls that continually troll other clubs boards for no good reason other to get under the skin of opposition supporters and destroy worthy topics of discussion. ie what’s occurred on the SD and Fremantle boards in the past. Not to make calls of what is libellous or not. That is the role of the administrator. Your wish has been granted.

And I’ve not seen anything in this heated discussion between the two clubs that warrants being moderated or deleted. Credit to supporters of both sides who have debated vigorously without overstepping the mark.

Someone on here did suggest a straight swap Leggett for Strnadica. That was poo pooed by you guys.
PFC stood steadfast on no transfer all through this saga so there would have been no official offer by the club.
PFC made the right decision.

Given that I have resigned as moderator of the East Fremantle board I could probably vent my spleen about a number of comments. However after 18 years on the Footygoss and Ozfooty websites it is simply time to go quietly into the sunset. Whilst there is much I could say, I will just say best wishes to all WAFL clubs in 2020 and I hope we have a competitive season for once. Goodbye for now! I might toddle back on here when the real footy season starts. Go Sharks!

Not only am i concerned deeply for the season ahead for Mineral Resources - it seems we could have someone in our midst with a mental condition characterized by an extremely inflated sense of their own importance.

No shortage of egos at the Moss Pit, maybe Geoff Valantine got a whiff of it and his instincts told him something didn't feel right and you ended up with WP's sacked coach who was seeking an extension.
