For me its a Mineral Resources win - sure they will never see the player again but they have helped maintain the integrity and sacrosanctity of the contract.

You guys don't seriously think Leggett will sit out of football in 2020? Of course he had to say that, he could hardly go to arbitration and say "my relationship with Perth has irretrievably broken down but if I lose I'll go back there anyway." Obviously he needed to try to make the arbitrator think what a tragedy it would be for the WAFL to lose a good young player. Luckily the arbitrator is not as dumb as you guys. Bob Shields said it all on our website: "All Cody needs to do is walk through the door and there will be a jumper and team mates waiting for him."

Well he is certainly not going to play for Mineral Resources - you don't seriously think he will?

And why not TE ? If he is so passionate about getting that AFL gig he has to play WAFL 2020.
There is only one club of choice. If he is not at MRP this coming season he can probably kiss AFL goodbye.
