He said, she said Freezin whatever it is or was it’s pretty pathetic that it’s come to this. I wonder what the former Perth CEO had to do with it. Masto can just go about his business collecting the footy we’ve got plenty of players who can bring the heat and Cody will be well aware who they are.

Obviously the fun and game’s continues.

I say to my club, if EF are offering 20k take the cash and fuck him off and make sure he’s in an EF jumper ready to face the music that will be ringing in his ears in round 5.

One thing is for sure, we know what we’ll be talking about after Subi wins the GF later this year.
Speaking of Subi, BC and co must be quietly pleased that they have had a break from the continual criticism they cop week after week.
Which now makes me wonder. The Perth blokes hated West Perth, then hated Subi, and now hate East Fremantle. So who gets added to their hate list now? They must be getting bored by now, so the rest of you watch out. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I think the arbitration decision was correct. The player was under contract and fair enough. The only thing I thought the PFC would have done is spoken to Cody of his intentions before it went to arbitration. Most knew the decision was going to be upheld. Surely a simple question - are you going to come back or are we wasting our time? Obviously no-one asked the right questions and the PFC get SFA and EF will get Cody a year later for nothing. To me this was bad, bad management from the PFC!!! I know the integrity needs to be upheld but we're not talking AFL contracts here we're talking basic WAFL footy wages and the PFC should have asked the question and moved on.
My question to the Perth faithful is what and/or who pissed Cody off that much for him to sit out of WAFL football for a year? There must be more to it than just the half back flank thing.
One thing that I posted before that Bill stated on Sport FM was that Perth were prepared to release him interstate but not to another WAFL club...interesting???

Rock, you overlook several facts.
Cody was clearly told at the outset that as he was under contract and a required player, and that the club would not clear him.
PFC was steadfast in it's approach and was vindicated by the WAFL arbitrator who upheld the integrity of a binding contract.
Bad management was all East Fremantle's making. Making promises to a player who they well knew was under contract. A contract is a contract whether at AFL level or WAFL level.
And you can be assured that EF will not get Leggett next year for nothing. He will still need a clearance and Perth will seek full compensation for a I point player who cannot be replaced except with a probable 7 point player.
As for what or who pissed him off to make him want to leave PFC, the half back thing was never an issue. There may have been a minor grievance or two which amounted to nothing. What has happened over the past couple of years though was misinformed people getting in his ear with ill advised and unrealistic notions.
He was to meet PFC a couple of days ago but postponed that and was to meet the FM today. I have not heard whether or not he attended.

Firstly your coach is a fuckwit who talks a lot of shit.
Secondly it was not a waste of time in fact Perth did a favour to the rest of the competition by letting the arbitration process play out which upheld and vindicated the contract that is between the Perth FC and Cody Leggett. That shows how naive and incompetent your club and Cody Leggett’s manager are.
Thirdly your club will have to cough up 10k next year if you want him.
Get on your bike.

IMHO maybe Cody is just worried about the hot welcome that awaits him down at the precinct..been a bit of chat that Cody may need to look over his shoulder, actually both shoulders, when next down at MRP.
