Definitely a whiff of trying to make a distraction about DD at the moment. Perth have all of this money (supposedly) but as everyone knows they haven't done jack shit for nearly 50 years. Maybe that is the problem too focused on counting their pennies.

Yeah definitely would rather winning games, playing finals and winning the odd flag here and there than having 600K stashed away never being touched and being an abject failure on the field at the same time!

Perth merging with West Coast makes total sense and the only way they are going to get off the bottom of the ladder one suspects.

Interesting listening. As Micale stated EF people will not let that happen. Youngy (an EF director) has stated on social media this wont happen, so it beats me how he/they think it will.
If the commission make any team align with WC it will be a disgrace. It has never worked before and never will. They've supported clubs like Peel to survive. WP have been pulled out the shit. SD & Subi rattled tins to survive and we will do the same if required. Good to hear Big Ron getting involved. Time will tell I suppose.
