According to the west on-line the race for Jonathan Marsh signature is down to three WAFL clubs - East Fremantle, Subiaco and West Perth. Hopefully gIven that we made a good profit this year we could match what Subiaco and West Perth are offering.

With all your recruits this year Custy I reckon you might struggle to get him in under the salary cap unless of course the club follows Peel's example..

You maybe right, but if we are in hunt then we could be ok. Perhaps with Loersh and Manning moving on and Griffitho’s retirement we may still have room in the salary cap.

We might be in the hunt- but we also might not be able to match the other 2. I guess we'll know when he signs somewhere...

Interesting WP are making a play for Marsh...can they pay the tsf fee and whatever Marsh is asking?...I have no doubt Subi will push hard for Marsh and use the Harry factor...whatever happens EF will get something....Considering Subi have won 2 out of the last 3 colts flags and lost fark all in draftees to the AFL during that period, surprised they are even looking at Marsh...especially when they already have Lockyer, Litherland, DeLa, Kitchin, Marsh, Sokol, Matera x2, Roche etc on their books....surely Subi have a few good local young utility sorts ready to step up and would be cheaper. I know why EF have widen the net recruiting wise the last few years, especially with good youngsters in Jackson, Ruscoe, Rivers, Sharpe, Warner, Walker,Joyce, O'Reilly and Carroll getting snapped up....

Ran into a couple of players over the weekend and they believe Marsh is signing at EF. That would be an outstanding off season if they can lock him away. They were unsure on Harry Taylor, but seem to think he was more likely to coach than play. Looking at club website, Dalziell has moved into Development role, meaning 1 Senior line coach position still to fill....

Cheers for that KC....as you say getting Marsh would definitely be the icing on the recruiting cake....as for HT...any on or off involvement with EF from Taylor would be a plus... no excuses for Buffalo in 2021...gotta feeling no 6 year Spalding plan for this fella....reckon HT would make a good coach

The challenge for Buffalo will be bringing in 6 new players, plus the players from last year, and getting them to gel quickly. The squad has been significantly bolstered. If they play anywhere near their potential then finals is a given.
