I popped down to the club Fri night and there weren't many names being thrown around either way- in contrast to the last few years. Either the football department is happy with the current group or the cards are being kept close to their chests.

Be nice if we were trying to get someone out of Perth again- just for giggles.

A bit early for this topic I would’ve thought but I’m sure Spud Monaghan has his eyes on a few.

Most clubs are waiting to see who gets delisted when the AFL clubs have to reduce list numbers.

I think you’re right, Freezin- can’t sign up until 1st Nov. though I’m hearing a couple of pending Ins that bolster our forward line.

Harry Taylor has announced his retirement. I don't know his retirement plans but if he comes back to Perth then the club should do everything they can to get him involved in any capacity.

Spot on Custy....even for a year or two....if the fella could handle the likes of Lynch, Dixon, Cox and Hipwood at the age of 34....pretty sure looking after the likes of Shaw and Keitel would be a doddle....youngsters in Tucker, Davidson and McGuire would be fast tracked under Taylor's tutelage.

Pretty sure if available he would come back to EF, seems like the loyal sort....anyway who would spend 10K and 12 points on a 34 going on 35 yr old footballer? Pity JK is going around again....would of been great having JK at FF and HT at FB.

Harry's body is pretty much cooked. I would be surprised to see him come back and play in the WAFL. I think he's the sort of guy if he comes back to WA he will more likely return to Gero and play for his old team up there where he can just go at his own pace and relax.

Given the longevity of his footy career you'd think Harry would find a nice shady tree somewhere to sit under and not even think about playing WAFL...much like Matt Priddis when he retired. For East Freo's and the comps sake I hope he does play but can't see it happening.

Surely he wouldn’t play but I guess the question will be asked. Maybe a coaching role as well. Depends what he wants to do after footy- most articles mention a strong desire to return home so I’d assume that’s more likely.

Some interesting whispers about imminent signings last night at the club- expect announcements over next few weeks. Small forward and Mid locked away whether another couple of targets in play.
