With the NZ system and the "Reserved Seats" to vote as a maori you must pass a stringent criteria
like you have to be able to speak fluent Maori and 
Have been tested and accepted by the local Chieftan as a member with full knowledge of ritual

Things are crook when Dutton is improving his approval rating against Elbows, that should surely be ringing alarm bells in the Caucus room. mainly due to the totally inept way he has handled the referendum so far.

Yes SS, this is what left wing Govs do, they run ideological distractions and ignore the big issues that people are concerned about, it ends up really pissing a lot of people off who can see the economic problems while millions are poured down the drain trying to push something that's just not necessary.

Albo is not the smartest salesman around and crew he has around him don't cut the mustard, I notice Linda Burney has gone MIA of late, they rolled Langdon out at the Press Club the other day begging the media to just print positive stuff about the voice. Noel Pearson is trying to hose things down, I think he knows the horses are spooked.

Probably worth thinking about, have a few reserved seats in the senate, mind you Aboriginal MPs are really up and about at the moment and percentage wise of Federal MPs is higher than general ATSI population.

He should of bailed on this a while back but it's too late now 4.5 weeks to go - looks like he's gong to send it off the cliff which is what the prediction was when Turnbull was PM.
 

Baz if i was Albos main adviser.I would advise to  pull the pin on this tomorrow morning.
This is an impending train wreck.Thats may take down the PM and Government. 
No ones interested atm, including a large majority of Indigenous Australians.
