Great win by the boys. They were all brilliant and all did there bit.Simpson Medal could have gone to a couple of them. Hutchy, Nelson, Kerr. Lets enjoy this. Also well done by our ressies. Even though they didnt win they still played there part in winning the big one. Congrats to the Bullies in the ressies and CLA in the colts. Party Time

One thing that amused me Was how fast the EP supporters left the ground halfway through the last qtr.. Had boxes around me (maybe they got sick of hearing me LOL) Emptied out and the outer looked pretty sparse.. At the end of the game the place was practically empty... OH well I suppose they went back to their caves and climbed under their rock.. Not to appear until EP appear in another GF... Most probably next year?

At regular games you could count their supporters on one hand.. Weak as Piss.

As for the Simpson great that Hutchy won it as a big possession getter again but as Dogman said and I agree entirely Rohan Kerr was BOG for the Falcons. Incredible game.

Shame that Hutchy will be going to EP next year... When not up and running for the EAGLES.... WOT A DISGRACE. All the best top him and hope he gets a regular EAGLES SPOT so he doesnt have to pull on that EP jumper

What a game. Well done to the boys. Hutchy is a gun and it will be very sad to see him go. How good of a pick up is rohan Kerr, the bloke was a sensation today. Strijker, blacky, nelly, gaudy, chipper, they were all great to watch today and just a great day for the falcons.

P.S keunan got the better of Johnson and lycett in my opinion

As a Swans man, I was delighted for Stephen Potente to get a premiership medal after he was very unlucky to be the man left out for a returning Michael Walters in the 2010 GF. Very brave effort by East Perth to stay in the game for 3 quarters when many of their midfielders were down, but they ran out of petrol in the last term.

A key stat was that the Royals dominated the hitouts (88 - 37), but the West Perth mids killed them in the clearances. One of the pivotal moments in the match I thought was about half way through the 3rd when East Perth got a 50 metre penalty but Cripps pushed Salecic and the decision was reversed and West Perth from there pushed forward and got a goal. Momentum in the game seemed to shift from then on towards the Falcons.
