Falcons well done, great win soak it all up and enjoy, see you boys next year

Well done West Perth it was a pleasure to witness the joy in my mate Leedys face at the end and a fantastic win by a true TEAM something the other 8 clubs will have to learn from to beat the alignments next year. Congrats to Steve `Roo` Potente in his well deserved Premiership medal.. and Carn the Ducks in 2014!

P.S. myself and Leedy took a detour as I chauffeured him along to the celebrations in Stirling. I drove my car slowly through the East Perth carpark at Leederville, all four windows down and Leedy had Its a Grand Old Flag blaring at top volume. They were not happy at all and luckily we got out of the joint as they started making their way over haha GOLD! Carn the Ducks!! in 2014!

As a Swans man, I was delighted for Stephen Potente to get a premiership medal after he was very unlucky to be the man left out for a returning Michael Walters in the 2010 GF. Very brave effort by East Perth to stay in the game for 3 quarters when many of their midfielders were down, but they ran out of petrol in the last term.

A key stat was that the Royals dominated the hitouts (88 - 37), but the West Perth mids killed them in the clearances. One of the pivotal moments in the match I thought was about half way through the 3rd when East Perth got a 50 metre penalty but Cripps pushed Salecic and the decision was reversed and West Perth from there pushed forward and got a goal. Momentum in the game seemed to shift from then on towards the Falcons.

Enjoy your celebrations Cardy, Leedy, Falcon, Screemer, Winger and all the other West Perth fans. Look forward to reading some of your posts later on when you are half cut

Yeh spot on mate the undiscipline shown by East Perth in that instance was a key moment and Dawson was visibly Livid by it

To Cardy,Leedy and the fellow West Perth tragics well done on a great game today - enjoy !!! Monas had the last laugh on Judgy and WP held onto him for 3 more years signing him up before they made the Grandy - Smart move !!!

What can I say, the boys did me proud and I love em to bits...10 long years for me going to nearly every game be it in rain wind snow out in the country etc, these are the days you dream about...and when they become a reality...wow.

Congratulations to all our players you have all been brave and you deserve this premiership.

Billy boy now becomes a league premiership coach and is a great coach for our club, he has wanted this premiership for many years and has finally got it...onya Billy.

It was great catching up with Leedy and Swandog after the game, these guys are true WAFL supporters and great guys, also good to speak to a very happy Winger a great bloke.

I would like to thank all the non West Perth supporters here who gave us their best wishes, it is fantastic to see.


I suppose from here on the comp has a very uncertain future, the G7 clubs need to stick together and fight to get rid of this bullshit alignment, I feel it will be thrown out but it may take some time.

Anyway the wind outside feels like the roof on my house is about to blow away, going to lay down in bed with a big smile on my dial and dream the dream...

Hahaha great stuff boys ..I would love too have witnessed that & the look on those Feral Eagles faces!!
