Great win Cardies, what a powerful final quarter. Very happy for your boys.

Congratulations to West Perth, worthy premiers for 2013. They played like a champion team which will always beat a team of champions. Hutchings, Nelson and Kerr were magnificent but everyone played their part in the win.

As a Swans man, I was delighted for Stephen Potente to get a premiership medal after he was very unlucky to be the man left out for a returning Michael Walters in the 2010 GF. Very brave effort by East Perth to stay in the game for 3 quarters when many of their midfielders were down, but they ran out of petrol in the last term.

A key stat was that the Royals dominated the hitouts (88 - 37), but the West Perth mids killed them in the clearances. One of the pivotal moments in the match I thought was about half way through the 3rd when East Perth got a 50 metre penalty but Cripps pushed Salecic and the decision was reversed and West Perth from there pushed forward and got a goal. Momentum in the game seemed to shift from then on towards the Falcons.

Enjoy your celebrations Cardy, Leedy, Falcon, Screemer, Winger and all the other West Perth fans. Look forward to reading some of your posts later on when you are half cut

Well done Cardies, went up today to watch the colts and reserves, came away with one flag,

thought WP finished the game far stronger, and really had it under control at 3/4 time despite the margin.

Weather kept a few away, but 20,000 was disappointing,

Absolutely well deserved and outstanding win, outplayed, out desired and the BEST team on the day won,

Great COACHING performance and Kerr was BOG but Hutch deserved to be second.

Great result by the Falcons in this the last WAFL game before it becomes a two team competition. This is the second and only time that a host club has been beaten by a WAFL team. The Falcons beat the combined Wharfies and Dockers in 1999. Today they beat a combined Royals and Eagles.

The full alignment does not take effect till 2014, otherwise Mark Hutchings would have been playing for East Perth today, so I think your statement is slightly inaccurate

Thanks guys it was an incredible win by a G7 club. Hope you can get up there and do the same thing because you would certainly have a lot of supporters amongst us. Good to see WE ARE ONE against this alignment shit.

Well done to the SF guys in the Reserves Final as all looks good for them in the future.

Condolences to our Ressies who should not be upset by the loss as you did the club proud in 2013 WITH your amazing comeback and all good for the club. Keep up the good work in 2014 and So proud you made the WAFL Reserves GF. The game was their to be won and you did the club proud in your efforts. YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN.

I honestly think WP win today and the support we had by all WAFL supporters and many more tells story in that WE WILL NOT BE BEATEN by these AFl Areseholes and it gives us new strength in this battle... Dont worry like 2001-2002 it will be destroyed...
