I have been too crook to post since the GF ( not a hang over either ) although i did enjoy the celebrations. Managed to get over for the game, my first for the year. What an effort by the boys! No passengers...no let up...100% guts. Fantastic win well deserved. I did feel sorry for Slick. In the rooms after the game,you could see in his eyes he was pleased for the team,but disappointed not to be part of the emotion of the day. To Leedy & Swandog great to have met you both. Nice to put faces to names from this site. Glad you got out the Leederville carpark alive!!! Maybe catch up next season for a Swans game. Cardy didn't manage to see you in the rooms or at Stirling. Thanks for the posts much appreciated from my perspective. To all WP supporters enjoy the moment & savour the this years glory!

Agreed Swandog, Cardy if you watch the replay (Im sure you will), Fowler had a hand in 2 other goals from nothing, the most notable being the tap out to Kody Manning after he threw his body on the line that eventually found a running goal square major to Kerr.

I discussed the shit house feeling that some players must have been experiencing with Swandog during the week but I am not going to start belittling a new Premiership Falcon as to whether he should have played or not. ! Congrats Chooky....................

Now what to do in the off season is the problem.. Lots of Cricket and Baseball so will get by. Heard a couple of AFL teams are playing a game this week?

Just got all the fixtures for the WA boys in the cricket. Sure 91.3 will broadcasting all shield games live so that is good. Thanks Colin and 91.3

I will miss the 2013 part as travelling in my van to places no man has been before and back in January. Wont be posting much on here as restricted with Internet access but got a bit. Thanks to all the guys who appreciated my posts and I enjoyed doing it because it was about WEST PERTH...

A big thanks to Strono EF (Vic) for the Box seat couldnt of seen the game from a better spot.. Owe you BIG time. All the Best to the EF Cricket club and will see you at a few games after Christmas...

And lets not forget the WPFC who are the CHAMPIONS for being part of my life. A great club who will never give up. Praise you we have come a long way together. Thanks for the clip Frank and cant wait for you 2013 GF vide

Lets not forget the Reserves side who finished off strong with 10 wins straight and couldnt just get over the line. I enjoyed watching them before the league game and they are a great bunch of guys and the future of the club.

Enjoy ur Summer

Thanks all for a great season. Even the non Falcons supporters.You made it very interesting. To everyone its a great site. Still a lot of passion in the WAFL.
Best of luck to everyone on the summer and for next year. Hope its as good a year as this one was. Some terrific games and highlights.

A little bit of trivia... our last GF win was 2003...

I remember that year well as well for the fact we had 10 wins straight and then got beaten by Perth. Just something to talk about.

Frank mentioned 1978 on the WPFC page on FB and it reminded me of 2003. Gee we thought we were going to get that 11 straight but didnt. It appears the same happened in 1978 taking a quote from Frank re 1978

Personal gripe...

1. Ok the BLACK hats with City of Joondalup on them at the GF I let pass.. Not happy but hey we won. The boys should of worn WPFC caps!

2. 2 emails today from Troy Pickard seeking support in the Mayoral election in Joondalup.. I live in Melville area!
Now where did he get my email address from? The WPFC? Not good Brett as that email address of mine in the membership list is not for public distribution..

This is the same guy who approached the AFL to start up a 3rd AFL team in Joondalup
