Could there maybe be an application from an AFL assistant coach whose team finished tonight?

Away from the coaching situation Not one morton played the last game interesting to know how many league games each has played this year through out there afl careers they spent alot of time injured on the sidelines not sure why perth thought this year would be different personally i think they are a waste of high point player value u can handle your zone players missing games but your 10 point players should be your quality match winners and need to play week in week out for me a key factor in recruiting a player from another club or interstate would be there injury history and durability they would need to have played a high amoumt of games consistantly for the previous 3 or 4 years prior

First post....but long time viewer so be kind!

I have heard that Perth have approached East Perth to take back Brookes and Borat with a view to saving transfer fees, I also believe they are trying to make a few bucks as well on the deal....not sure that the Dees are in a strong financial position as a few of you suggest.

Larry, I do know that there is an large overdraft in place, but I don't know its current position.

Glass has declined any involvement with the club choosing to study next year.

I am also aware that a couple of major sponsors are rethinking support in 2015. This is also inline with a number of players.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news, just sharing what I know!

Ed

Ed not sure were you heard that information about the clubs financial position but the club has stated all year that we are in the top three for the most financial clubs.

We have had the same sponsors for a number of years now so they might be coming out of contract and it is their right to assess whether or not they want to renew the deal or not.

A clean out to some extent has begun with Nick Kane retiring and Jared Risol not staying on in 2015. That's 15 points freed up. Paul Bevan's points get halved next season so if he stays, we have 21 points, if he goes we have 27 points.

In regards to the Morton brothers, if we can get a full season out of them all then fine but you'd have to have a close look at the points they cost and the output that they have given in 2014.

Jarryd Morton has been the best out of the brothers IMO.
