No dark motive just would like to know the level of debt at Perth. It is very important these facilities are controlled used to cover expenses over summer etc. I know EP does similar, I for one would like to see Perth strong in the future. Thanks for your polite post, there are some lovely people at Perth and as we see on this forum some that represent the worst of Australian culture.

Larry (aka Trevor), I've never known a poster who supports another club to be so nosy about another WAFL clubs financial status. So far you have asked about the clubs profitability, level of debt and size of our over draft. Why the interest? You hoping we will roll over and hop into bed with the Eagles?

Jordan Lisle has been delisted by the Brisbane Lions. Has spent 4-5 years in the AFL system at both the Hawks and then the Lions. Is 195cm and 94kg's and is a key forward. Kicked 56 goals from 18 games last year and this year has kicked 24 goals from 12 games. Kicked 40-50 goals in 2012 as well. In his two years at Box Hill in the VFL while on Hawthorns list he played 33 games and kicked 57 goals.

Would definitely be worth a look.

gotta admit DD it is a bit strange that he is so interested in Perth's financial position. As an opposition supporter, I couldn't care less if perth is rolling in the stuff or in debt like just about everyone else unless it appears your club is about to go under. In that case, all WAFL supporters should rally around and make sure it doesn't happen but as some have already said on here that Perth is in a pretty good financial position then what business is it of Larry's?

For obvious reasons, I cant reveal how I know but I can assure you that after the weekend's takings, meager though they may be, the overdraft will not be an issue as it will be very close to zero which is outstanding for this time of year and with the onfield results. Finances aren't a problem at PFC. We are very well run financially probably too well as the board a few years back, decided that getting rid of the debt was a major priority so the football department suffered somewhat, a lot really.

The board is now trying to have a happy medium, small profits with more in the footy dept to enable better results. We will show a profit again this year and will be only a little less than 2013 which is an outstanding effort. Like most clubs, PFC operates a on a very tight budget with a lot of voluntary work. We just seem to have taken it a step too far. There are 3 or 4 clubs that would give their left goolie to be in our financial position.

As for East Perth you dont need to worry about their profits or losses. They will soon sell their colours to pink and purple if some one offers them 12 shekals. Thats the great thing about EP. They will sell anything for a dollar without a thought for community, supporters or fellow WAFL clubs. They are the reason the WAFL will be in a state of decline for many years. They do absolutely NOTHING for their junior clubs and give zilch compared to say West Perth or Subiaco. For EP, its all take take take then sell sell sell.

Well I have asked the same question for no sensible answer just soap boxing. I just want to get a picture of the financial status of the club, because I'm hearing dramatically different reports. I enjoy The Perth rivalry going back many decades. Is it so wrong to take an interest in WAFL matters and clubs futures.

I wouldnt mind having a look at Gwilt from St Kilda either. He can play at both ends, has had Grand Final experience and is still young for WAFL.

At last answer with more soap boxing, but at least an answer. You lost me with the junior clubs thing, that is a myth that may of had some truth twenty years ago but is far from the truth now.
