Let’s get this back on topic. This is what I heard today.

There will be NO ALIGNMENT between the Eagles and ANY club.
Eagles players will go back to their original WAFL club.
A model being put forward is one where we (Perth), will accept a maximum of 5 or 6 players from the WCE.

It is worth noting we have zip, nought, NO players currently on the Eagles list. So other clubs will benefit, we will not from that scenario.

Pffft. That's just an alignment by stealth. You can jam that model. 

The only 'model' that works, is equitable and fair is WC players return to their club of origin and the rest get allocated in a player draft. That way it doesn't corrupt further an already corrupted competition that is turning into the fkn EPL. 

Fix the problem (zones) instead of looking for solutions sucking on the treacherous WC teat.

So in other words that’s just another way of saying you are happy to accept WCE players and we get first dibs because we effectively finished stone motherless last. Maybe you’ll also push our case for a priority pick?

You guys in No camp do realise this type of thing goes on all over the world in top level sports and has been for decades like soccer and NBA where players drafted get sent to lower leagues until they mature and prove themselves ready for the top level and probably most never make that step. It’s nothing new but you guys turn this into some evil criminal conspiracy takeover by stealth drama. 

Unless a few of you have got deep pockets and are prepared to part with it then get behind your club and support it.

I heard that before the reserves game there were some supporters handing out flyers for a Perth Facebook group and words may have been exchanged. Not sure what the group is called though.

Led by ex president Damian Mathews. I just noticed membership has jumped from 2268 last time I looked on the weekend to 2347. That’s just bullshit. Season over long ago why would anyone buy a membership?  Hopefully they don’t have voting rights. Sounds like some grubby branch stacking going on by the tin foil hat party.

The facebook group is called "Defend our Demons". Be careful joining because you will be publicly chastised if you don't agree 100% with certain members opinions and thoughts on how to proceed.   As for the jump in memberships, people are coming out of the woodwork to buy memberships so they get a vote. I'm even aware of other club supporters buying memberships so they get a vote.

That just can’t be allowed to happen PD I’m sure you agree no matter who has joined. I reckon anyone who joined after the last home and away game should be ineligible to vote.
