Not sure I share that theory SS.
We have played on that surface for several seasons now.
Pectoral muscle?
Don't think so.

On the plus side, the crowd was reasonably healthy. Well done Perth supporters. Beautiful night. Ground looked a picture.  Some cultural diversity in the little league.  Belmont footy club? Maybe the ratings were good.

The ratings numbers would be intresting esp after half, time, I know I buggered it off, it was absolute rubbish, to see a side kick one goal and not until last 1/4 while the other mob piled it on was like a bad day at junior footy. Felt sorry for the commentators, as for atmosphere the entire outer had about 5 people in it looked crap on TV.
I enjoyed it. Certainly had comedy value plus a whiff of would they won't they score a goal about it.

Wasn't proposing a theory DF just posing a question. With a number of posts saying something must be up with the surface contributing to injuries, I was asking how many can actually be attributed to the surface. From what your saying, it's not that many. I think it's just shite luck, same as Subi last year but worse, sometimes teams get these horror injury runs.

I think your all getting carried away, they kicked 1 goal in a whole half against Swans a couple of weeks ago and last night they bullied a virtual reserves side.
As a matter of interest how many games do you think Subi will lose for the rest of the home and away season?
Well if were alive in the last game of the season which looks long odds at the moment,i'll be backing us in with a full strength squad, and i still maintain that the Tigers have the best onballers, and their Ruckman Eastland beat our formidable ruck duo as well as collecting 18 possessions and for mine are the best side.

DF, of the 16 injuries how many could be linked to a dodgy playing surface?
I walked on the playing surface bare foot during pre season and was surprised how soft and spongy it was. The first year after resurfacing it was like a bowling green and very hard. I don't think it's a factor.

Having handled a full strength SF side with 8 or 9 of our best out a few weeks ago with a comfortable 20 point margin I'd be very confident about a 15 plus goal victory next time with our team at full strength and you having 14 of your best missing then lose one early in the game.

How would your mob go with 14 out?
And 2 more down at half time.
