Hope you're right with the returns.
We would have expected to beat EF.
Particularly at MRP.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

We have two weeks to get some of those players back on the field. I agree that they should be able to come straight in, and by-pass the ressies. The way I see it? Looks like the light in that tunnel is starting to brighten. We were always going to take 2 & 1 out of the last three games though we did not expect the shellacking we took on Thursday night.
We must beat EF but then we have the big three again, of which only WP will be a home game. If we are to get back as finals prospects we will need 2 & ! again.
After that we have 2 games v EP (1 at home), Swans away, WCE away game at MRP, C at home then finish with Peel away.
The sooner we start to see key players returning the sooner the better.
There are 10 games to go and we would have to win 6 or 7 to be sure of finals. No reason we cannot achieve that, but we must work on re-building our percentage.
We just have to want it and hope injuries are kept to a minimum in the meantime..

Yes, forgot Busher. With him, we may have up to 9 additions. Not often you would make that many changes from one game to the next. Hopefully Taylor will be the only forced change. I'd leave Avery in. I thought he was good v Subi. Not that I expect a 19 year old with one league game to replicate the sort of run off half back that Taylor has given us, but he is a good size and a good mark, and should benefit from having Sinclair and Giblett alongside.

The other changes... 8 out of these 9: Browne, Hitchcock, Clark, Davis, Hendo, Gray, Steel, Sing, Hayward. I thought about adding Eddo after his weak effort v Subi. He was far from alone, but as a senior player, he needed to show a lot more intensity. However, he too will benefit from having better players back in the team. Eddo's game is not winning his own ball, it's a running game, linking up along the wing. So I think he stays, but he should be on notice. When Langlands comes back, he'd better have had have a couple of good games.

Just realised 3 came out of last weeks side.
Busher, Nicholas and McPartland.
That is 14 players out.
And Fisher during the game.
FMD and John Townsend writes an article like that.
How much worse can it get.
The ground announcer has to go.
Why does the ground announcer have to go DF?

I read in the West that the ground announcer made a "bizarre comment" after Perth scored their goal in the last stages of the game. They didn't say what the comment was but indicated that it may trigger an official complaint from Subiaco.

Don't worry, when opposition clubs whinge PFC folds and let's them have their way. It's a good thing they are tearing the joint down and the PFC heirarchy better consult members on the design of the new club facilities so opposition clubs can't whinge like little bitches about PFC members and supporters cheering for their team.

There better be exclusive areas for club members and supporters that are strictly off limits to away supporters like every other club has and FFS put the away team interchange away from us  for the little darlings.

DD which areas at Basso are off-limits to opposition supporters?  Swans has a morning tea at half-time of the colts where both Swans and the opposition are welcome to attend.

Probably because at colts matches it’s mostly mum’s and dad’s in attendance 42. I’m talking about members and supporter areas that are primarily for the home team that opposition supporters should respect and know better than to infiltrate. For instance when I go to Bassendean sometimes I go in through the northern entrance and make my way through your fantastic Swans supporters area which has a great viewing spot and a large under cover area.

I don’t stop there to view the game except briefly if the play is at that end, might grab a hotdog at your canteen then move on between the grandstands among Perth folk. It’s called respect. Opposition supporters seem to get the run of the place at Lathlain. What’s the point in being a member if your club can’t provide a members area?
