Interesting to hear JL being interviewed during the test broadcast. I think he's going to demand a lot more than the players have delivered in the past. If I was a young fella out there trying to break into the squad, I'd have a lot more hope now. Work your butt off and JL will look at you. No doubt, there'll be people that won't be prepared to go the Langer way, so we'll have new faces in 2013/14.

Who will go do you think?
Marsh brothers,Mitch has huge potentail,Shaun i like but has problems.
North:very average since stopped playing for Aus?
Voges:to inconsistent for me,i suppose he had to be captain after North threw in captaincy, nobody else after Katich knocked it back.
Young fellas:Beaton,Harris,Whiteman:Harris and Whiteman have both shown ability with 100's or close too,Beaton been around for a while but not done a great deal.
The bowlers:Coulter-nile,Beer,Rimmington,Behrendorff and a few others are ok i reckon,i like Rimmington as hes a trier at least.
Who will WA Warriors chase from over east or overseas to captain the side do you think?Heard Smith [captain of South Africa]would like to play here but maybe not for few years yet.

anchorman wrote: Even the commentators remarked about the fact that some would not be there next year under JL.
Hopefully he is true to his word and gets right into them.
Come the end of this summer there could be some very sick sore and worried players out there.

I think if JL has his way, there'll be some changes all right...and I would guess for the good of WA cricket. I imagine it will come down to whether the board has the balls to back him or say what they have said for many years....don't rock the boat. I think JL will walk if they do. As for the Marsh boys, hang on to them....they could be special under a strong willed coach.

WA cricket is a baskett case so no surprise really, we will struggle to win a game in any format this year, Langer must be thinking what the F##K have i got myself into?! I say get rid of the old farts too..Hogg, Gibbs, North, Edmonson etc etc these guys have had their day are well past their best, about time they rebuilt NOW from the ground up

One positive out of the carnage tonight, I thought young Cartwright showed a bit. Worth some more opportunities IMO

I have been saying this for 2 years now.

If we are going to lose at least lose with local kids. We have to get games into them to have any chance of improving. Thus far it seems JL is happy to go with the status quo.

It will be interesting to see how long this lasts.
