Would love to talk cricket but our Warriors certainly havent given us much to talk about. Big problems down at the WACA with our opening games being such dismal failures. We have the talent but their mental attitude is sadly lacking. Wes Robinson was a big loss as he had a bit of fight in him.
Coach? Could be struggling to hold his position

Agree mate i cannot believe they didnt offer Wes a contract for this season! Now they are struggling in the top order and IMO there are too many primadonnas playing who are more concerned about playing mickey mouse 20/20 and i include the Marsh boys in that!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Anchor due to champions league and the big bash the whole schedule needed to be altered.

I must say the interest level for our team of Australian allstars is starting to irk me.

Warriors have been poor for a few seasons now, their batting is feeble at best.
Hopefully some of the have-beens get put back to grade cricket and the younger blokes get a shot, would rather watch them try than the same crap we get game after game from the team we have now.
If the team had the same spirit as Nathan Rimmington[not the most talented but at least has a go]we would be doing much better.

WA Cricket needs a clean out from the top down before anything will change IMO, seems to be the same old names involved. You dont see too many footy clubs with deadwood hanging around have success

The poor old Warriors don't seem to have the consistency from what I can see.
At times, they play really well and then seem to fall away for some reason?
I still think too much international cricket is played which has a detrimental effect on the domestic game.

How about picking local blokes and not imports all the time. we should be called the Western barbarians. 10 years of ignoring local blokes has got us no were. Time to go back to basics, change the structure of Pennant cricket and start to nurture local talent.

We cannot go any worse than we already are.

Watched the T20 match last night. They looked out of their depth with the bat. Gibbs failed and we just didn't have anyone else that could take a hold of the bowlers. We missed at least 3 certain outs when they batted. Then at the end when we were in a winning position, they bowled an out of sorts Rimmo instead of a hot Beer (Nah....not THAT sort of beer)!! Game over...go home losers!
