Yeah no easy answer to district cricket when talking about mergers. Its our development that is poor. Too result focused by most junior coaches at that level.

Talking Footy you are full of it. How would you know if Shaun and Mitch are part of the problem. They train hard and are among the best we have. I recall you saying Travis Birt should be playing, wow hasn't he done well since coming back in. Leave your personal opinions out of it, facts are WA is just not very good at the moment due to piss poor grade levels.

Its a poison challis at the moment. If you came in now you have no hope of putting your stamp on this group. You are better off waiting till next year coming in, cleaning it out of those you don't want and starting fresh.

My hope is that whoever does it sets a long term goal of promoting from grade cricket and no longer recruiting from interstate to fill supposed gaps. We are crap anyway at least be crap with homegrown boys.

Of course there part of the problem. The whole squad have a role to play in were WA are at the moment. Was it Lachy Stevens fault alone was it. Must of been Justins fault we are rolled for 60 odd. Stop letting your personal opinions cloud your judgement and look at the whole picture.

Hopefully Langer can have the courage to set it up how he wants it. If that means clean the list out so be it, if he believes he can work with what we have got, so be it.

My "personal" opinion is again I hope he promotes from our pennant comp and nurtures some new young men into the squad to take us forward.
