Maybe the self proclaimed "sporting capital of the world" CoVics believe it is a sport to see who can get the highest amount of covid cases? 

I think I saw a stat that 19 people died overnight in Vic and 17 weren't vaccinated. Surely the deniers have to sit up and take notice of something like that.

Very promising news out of Japan that during it's peak was recording around 26,000 cases a day. That number has gone down to under 200 cases a day in November and just 6 new cases on Monday. We are talking about the worlds most populated city with 40 million people.

Apparently the Delta strain there has mutated itself to extinction. I'm obviously no scientist but maybe it's a case of let the thing run rampant until it mutates itself to death? It seems to be going on a similar trend in Sydney.

WA wont get anywhere close to Mc clowns crazy 90% by January target, that means he will set an open date and yep we will be back to restrictions again in the new year, almost certainly be back to crowd restrictions at footy and masks on public transport.

I've booked a trip for Queensland next July, and like you I'm not fully confident in this lunatic letting me able to go.

Bazza, I think you will get out ok, the raffle is will you be allowed back into WA and if so will you have to quarantine. That what still worries me about booking travel
 

Yep its the getting back that is the concern.

My colleague in Adelaide tells me there are reports over there of their first community case, which is quick as the borders only opened yesterday. Bets on how long the border stays open and if this will effect the scorchers game Saturday night?

It is interesting that many countries are making vaccination mandatory for various sectors of employment and imposing restrictions on those not vaccinated. now that seems really cowardly doesn't it!
