Another low point for the supreme leader today, the pro labor parliamentary changes have been pushed through today, the ones he said were never going to happen before the election - he had no plans for it,

going mad with power,

disgraceful.
I don't have a problem with pushing through commonsense reform so one vote means one value but Labor is under siege this morning in 6PR with women coming out in their droves who've been sacked for not obeying every order to do unpaid campaign work. They should do a class action for workplace bullying. Cooked one of the biggest culprits. He's a protected species this clown.

Joondalup nurses are speaking up. Absolutely run off their feet and patients are going completely unattended. This government is a shambles but what is the alternative? The Liberal Christian whack jobs? Fuck those clowns.

I hated Barnett in the end but geezus I'd have him back in a heartbeat right now.
It doesnt matter whether you agree with pushing through the "reforms" , its the blatant lies about having no intention to do it and then being given unlimited power to do what they like, demonstrates that Labor cannot be trusted because they do anything they can to grab power.

As for the other stuff you list . its the same old same old...Labor won't care what s on 6 pr  they have supreme power and Cooked the next  appointed leader sails on.

The idea of 1 vote 1 value is a nice feel good thing, but if you support the idea here in WA so that metro areas have far more representation than regional areas, the regions that produce the vast majority of income for the state via mining and agriculture, then you must do the same federally for the senate which is a long way from 1 vote 1 value.

The Senate consists of 76 members, 12 from each state and 2 from each of the mainland territories. So the concept of 1 vote 1 value is downgraded for states like NSW and VIC and massively upgraded for states like WA SA and TAS. One can only cringe with fear if that concept was matched at the federal senate level and see how well the small states would be treated by the big states, do you reckon WA would get any GST distribution at all if the concept of 1 vote 1 value was adopted at the federal level.

There was a reason for vote weighting in regional areas, so that they get a fair go and the power is not centred in the Perth metro area which is where labours power base is, so it's understandable they would look at any way to bolster that power. We will see a number of Nats seats disappear so the balance will shift significantly to the Metro area.

I just about choked on my Weeties this morning when I read in the West that Cooked is considering moving on as he needs fresh challenges. FMD he's stuffed up the Health portfolio so why would he be keen to take something else on and why would McClown even consider it. He should move on alright but straight to the back bench then out of parliament asap.

BC I reckon he may actually jump ship and go into the private world. |It would suit McClown as it rids him of an issue, it suits cos he can give health to someone else and if they do some mending lo and behold look at me.  Just a thought that could be way off the mark.

You could be right Grump but to me it's McClown reading the tea leaves and seeing the polls turn as a result of Cooked's inept handling of the Health portfolio. McClown needs to move him on but it would be a bad look if he was sacked. It would be an admission by McClown that not all is well in health which he has denied up until now.

Spot on, anyone spruiking the one vote one value myth obviously haven't heard of the Australian Senate. and would support WA having 2 senators and NSW having 20 odd.

Democracy is often about giving voice to those that might not otherwise have a voice, be it smaller states or regional voters.

We all know Cooked is a dud, he should of been mover on well over a year, he'd be the most toxic MP they have now, problem for McClown is he controls the United Voice Left Faction which is the most powerful in the State and that protects him and got him where he is and keeps him protected, McClown propbably doesnt have the pull to dump him so it would have to be a soft exit on Cooked terms, Cooked has done literally Nothing his entire life except work for the Labor Party and highlights everything that's wrong about political aparachiks having power.

You’re right I don’t know how the senate works I don’t delve that deep into politics but how hell is it reasonable for a gingernut to become a senator with just 98 votes who didn’t even live in Australia for years?
Get on your bike.

Agree or disagree with McClown's policies on this and clearly the tide is turning but the behaviour of anti-vaxxers is a disgrace. His car was surrounded in Bunbury today and he was abused and threatened. That shouldn't be happening in today's society where we can express our views but do so in reasonable way. These clowns need to be locked up to send a message.
