Very selective of you 42 as she also went onto say in the next couple of paragraphs...

Mark McGowan’s pledge that even if 80 per cent vaccine take-up is reached in WA we could still face restrictions makes us even more of a laughing stock for the world.

While many other countries will be able to travel freely and their economies free-flowing, WA could still be shut off from the rest of the world.

“(Zero COVID) is now the accepted position. People will criticise. I just want to say ‘look at our life, look at all this’. People out having lunch, having fun, people at work, the office blocks have got the highest staffing levels back of anywhere in Australia, our schools are operating, our economy is going the strongest in Australia of anywhere in the world — isn’t a good thing?” McGowan said.

MPs yesterday told me that his comments risked driving vaccine hesitancy and destroying hope. They said there needs to be a move to an aggressive suppression of deaths as opposed to cases.

“Vaccination does that,” one MP said.

“It’s reckless for him to be acting this way. It gives people no incentive to actually get vaccinated and that’s the way out of this,” another said.
They were her own words I quoted.  Why didn't she name the MPs she was quoting?  What areas of the world was she referring to?  Should we compare their COVID-19 per capita death rates to WA's?

And of course her comments run counter to the reality that vaccination rates in WA are increasing.

Mate ...you're dreaming if you're waiting for our good friend 42 to say anything remotely negative about Labor. He worshipped the ground Gillard walked on, Krudd has assumed almost saint like status in 42s eyes and if he came home and found McGoo in the cot with his missus, he wouldn't know which side of the bed to get into. It's starting to unravel for McGoo to some extent already with the SWM journos turning on him. There was a nice article by Lanai Scarr yesterday in The West which said McGoo was fast going from hero to zero due to his unwaivering commitment to lockdowns given the political success it has brought him. Others have pointed out that we're the laughing stock around the globe given we lock down over 1 or 2 cases. Other countries are starting to open up and live with the virus, we in WA have to live in fear of it because we have no other plan than to keep it out with lockdowns and closures.
Hahaha that’s a beauty

Yeh it’s as obvious as the nose on your face why 42 returned from his self imposed hiatus. It just needs to be called out after his relentless defence of McGoo and criticism of any Liberal leader, and then he calls us out for not being critical. Pot calling the kettle black.
The NSW government failed to take the delta outbreak seriously when they started their "Clayton's" lockdown in parts of Sydney.  As a consequence the delta outbreak has spread to other LGAs in the greater Sydney area and to other regions in NSW.  It has also spread to other states and territories and also to New Zealand.  That is what is happening NOW.
And his Royal Highness didn’t take it seriously either by not enforcing mandatory 14 day self quarantine for interstate travellers from Sydney until it was too late.

Why is McClown even entertaining the thought of bringing some god foresaken rugby competition to Perth with teams from Covid ravaged countries like South Africa, Argentina & even NZ has had a recent outbreak?

McClown is showing his true NSW rugby colours again by this bullshit...he still hasnt got it in WA we are an Australian Rules Football loving state not the bum sniffers game!

Spot on yet in the same breath he says shit like getting the AFL GF here is not my No 1 priority and I want all players and officials fully vaccinated before they come here, but no mention of those prerequisites for rugby.

Queensland had a state election in October, 2020 and WA had a state election in March, 2021.   Perhaps the time has come for Morrison to follow the Canadian PM's lead and call a federal election now and allow the voters to decide who should govern going forward.

If he did mate there'd be half the country doing it via postal vote given the lockdowns and risk of community transmission  - probably better not to at this point with NSW and Victoria

Now why would ScoMo do that 42?  If he waited until say March next year we'll all be vaccinated, life would have returned to relative normality, the economy will be going gang busters, everyone will be travelling both here and abroad....of course you do realise I'm talking about the rest of Australia 42 as WA will still be an isolated hermit kingdom with Dear Leader McGoo shutting the borders just for laughs because he can.

NZ goes into complete lockdown after 1 community case....I reckon the NZ PM rivals McGowan for wearing the southern hemisphere COVID pants.....though in all honesty after looking at those NSW numbers....it only takes 1 to cause a COVID shit show.....go fast go hard is the motto over here.....though I reckon if they did a snap election here in NZ tomorrow....she may lose.....a lot of of pissed off folk here in Christchurch for a problem located in another city on another island altogether. Wonder if McGowan will welcome the All Blacks into Perth next week?

True BC, I am wondering how McGhoo will manage Woodsides massive expansion plan that almost certain to start next year, with Scarborough and Pluto Train 2 needing 3500 workers during construction at Karratha, the border control thing is going to be very hard to keep up for ever.
