Perhaps the folk coming out of the Afghan process will help with the farmers and mining needs. Listening to some of the interviews they seem to be quite qualified people albeit their qualifications are not recognised here! I think they are fighting a losing battle in NSW and Vic. My gut feeling is the punters have had enough and voting with their feet. The federal government is now on the right track after SloMo was slow out of the blocks with vaccinations. They need to get those needles into arms as quickly as they can. There is a breaking point people can tolerate before they go, you know what I've had enough.

We are lucky here and I agree if we get just one case here we need to go into lockdown with this delta variant because we can knock it on the head quickly.

As Ben Harvey has said in his podcast, McGoo and Cooked are buying time with their hard border policy because their health system is rooted and they know it would be chaos if we get the kind of delta spread here with people in hospital. They are so desperate they are now offering spotters fees to current health care workers who can entice nurses back into the system.

In the NSW presser today it was mentioned that a man from Bondi had been caught for the fourth time away from his home.  He has now been arrested and bail refused.  It is mindboggling that a person could be so selfish.  671 infringement notices were issued.

Another 644 new COVID-19 cases with sadly 4 deaths in the last 24 hours in NSW.  Their lockdown in the greater Sydney area has been extended until 30th September.  In some Sydney LGAs a 9pm to 5am curfew has been introduced.
