You would have to be thicker than a 4x2 to not understand that the very thing that they were protesting against was most likely going to be extended because of their actions.

Oddly enough that never seemed to be an issue with the BLM protests, right at the height of the outbreak last year, esp given Aboriginals are supposed to be at the most vulnerable to exposure. 

The very big difference between then and now is that the delta strain is far more infectious.  The numbers in Sydney don't appear to be going down and what occurred last weekend can only mean that the numbers won't go down in the near future.  There has been talk that potentially the NSW lockdown may last until September.

rubbish the entire nation was in lockdown at the time , no footy, no pub, no work remember?  - At least NSW did the right thing and did everything they possibly could to stop the mass BLM gatherings, unlike Dans mob and Mc Clowns health ministers wife going along, while the rest of us were all in lock down - work that out!

reading that they have the organiser and he has his own website designed specially to cause trouble

 

4th vessel from Indonesia arrives with sick crew on board. You'd think it's by design so they can receive treatment here rather than Indonesia where it's taken hold again. Maybe the Feds should think about putting a temporary hold on any vessels coming from there until something more formal gets put in place.

Not a huge issue at the moment but has the potential to become one if not managed properly.

BC listening to the ABC this morning on the way home from the beach they had the MD of a shipping import firm on saying that many countries now are prioritising Maritime workers. Given 85% of our imports come via the ocean the it would seem logical to me at least to start being part of the solution, Yes the ships owners could be doing more and yes the federal government could do more but ......... .
