Definitely the start Aust didn't want, but one that was definitely on the cards....just lose wickets in clumps. Big clumps as well....huge ask from here.....

As for Bazball, yep can only score against what's put in front of you, but that NZ attack was very average, two newbies and Wagner bowling pies. That Pakistan attack was just as inexperienced and woeful, hopefully Aust can learn from this, and set fields and bowl the necessary line and lengths to put pressure back on the likes of Duckett, Brook etc. Time will tell.

Jadeja and Ashwin bowling hand grenades. The captains golden duck makes it 4 wickets in just 11 deliveries. Pat seemed to think it was the last over of a T20!

I amazed at how many umpire's calls have gone against Australia compared to India. Some home ground decisions that's for sure.

Had not noticed BC but not surprising if the rub of green is with India. Aussie clueless shot selection asking for trouble.

Absolutely pathetic batting performance. Not a bit of spine or backbone shown. All they needed was one decent partnership FFS and they would have posted a score of 180 which would have been enough on that pitch. Just about bowled out in a session. India have enough batting resources and skill to get just over 100. I give up

I have seen some of the worst batting efforts in my time from Australia in the last decade including being all out for 47 against SA (at one stage we were 9/21 before Lyon hit out), the 63 vs England all out after just an hour of play on the first day with Broad taking 8/15 but today was just something else.....absolutely clueless batting!
Why dont these modern day batsmen use their feet to the spinners like those previous greats did who had great success vs India- Chappell, Hughes, Border, Jones, Boon, Clarke, Martyn, Hayden etc?????????????????????????????????
Cummins is like a dear in the headlights over there whilst McDonald was the poorest choice for a coach as you could possibly get!
